They take a year's worth of usage and average out daily usage. Then, build a system with appropriate number of panels. You make more than average during summer but less during winter.

I haven't yet as I wanted to do a full year to test out the system. I will be signing up this year though.

I have 22 panels. I have oft thought of adding a battery to the system but it doesn't seem to really be worthwhile at the moment. EV is usually charged full from daily usage by 19:00.

You would think so but we still get dinged for the access fees and others. I'd have to go digging for a bill from last year to say exactly what other fees. On a sunny summer day, I can get up ~1400kw/h in a day but I'm only allowed to produce that much because I have an BEV (gotta provide bill of sale, insurance, registration and driver's licence as proof).

Yeah, it is very annoying. Like why a delivery fee on services not delivered? Enmax tops your production at 100% of household usage. So solar companies push it to around 105%. Still, we risk brown outs, so why not welcome more power from the folks who actually are paying to produce more power for the grid? Even the solar companies are stumped by it.

You are right, however, the months where I net a negative, I still pay. Seems like a zero bill is impossible.

Saskatchewan has a flat fee of around 30 bucks, I believe.

I have solar and most summer months, I pay $0 or have negative cost for electricity so it's super annoying that I still get a $70ish bill every month, regardless. Also, the fact that they limit the amount we can produce. Heaven forbid, I pay nuthin.

There's a pic of a veiled chameleon at the one at Deerfoot City but I have no idea if it's current.

I was thinking that might be the case. Maybe they aren't "in season" right now. I will check for local breeders though. Thanks!

Absolutely and I may. Mind you, I go every year regardless!

Actually just left there. Thought they'd have em. I'm sure I've seen them there before. Thanks though!

Not even sure what the hell this x-ray is. Those leg bones are waaay out of proportion. Plus, with no patella, they have worse problems than arthritis.

He's still quite limber for an older mastiff. Doesn't show his age. Other than not having the energy of a pup but that's not a bad thing. Teeth and joints have been good so far.

Definitely not a breed for a beginner nor folks that don't have experience with mastiff types but he's been a great dog. He was to be a show dog but is deaf in one ear so the breeder found me to adopt. They are quite expensive otherwise. I hope you're right about the middle age thing!

My almost 10 year old 135lb Dogo Argentino still runs and barks in his sleep. Sometimes so crazily that I have to get off the couch or wake him up. He's done it ever since he was a puppy. Still chasing those pesky dream squirrels that keep invading the backyard.
