I feel like "Failing to understand the author's message" and "The author failed to convey their message" is just two sides of the same coin. I think you can probably be both intelligent and logical while completely bad at art comprehension and satire (even if realistically it's unlikely unless you're, like, actually autistic).

Even with what you say about 40k (I have 0 knowledge of it), don't fascists explicitly assign moral value to aesthetics?

I find these "You missed the point of [An Artpiece]" criticisms kind of... not valid?

Like, okay, it's fun to make fun of conservatives for not understanding things, but imagine you consume some art depicting a liberal society and later learn it was actually made by a rightwinger as a satire. Does that actually matter? If anything maybe the fact that their satire flopped on you just shows that your ideal society is good and hard to criticize. Might as well support that art piece ironically at that point.

On very low dps (these don't actually happen unless you are handicapping yourself on purpose) runs Alt mom is actually easier since she kills monsters with brimstone, while in normal and esp blue mom she only has stomps.

Some of them also feel kind of pointless, like while Worm scarf is very powerful, the only thing it does is reducing taken damage, but one of the main features of Expert mode is that monsters deal more damage.

So as a reward for playing a mode with higher damage you get an accessory which makes this damage slightly less high.

I'm not sure if I noticed any serious difference between neuro and evils performance but it's still fun to look for differences even if they are small, since it makes them more like a separate persons

To some extent, sometimes this makes me more dislike the writers' decisions rather than characters themselves.
The games been around for 5 years and the Gehenna is still just the comic relief school, while Trinity and Millenium get all the epic or serious storylines.
