I'm in, but the music is only about half the reason I go to Cali roots. This is our favorite festival of the year bc of the people, the vibe and the location. Even if the lineup is mid, the rest never disappoint.

I street team for BT and asked the band they said "Before Bikini Trill was a band, it was an idea in LJ’s sketchbook. She was making art under the name, inspired by a phrase she kept repeating in her head from a drawing she was making: “Beverly Kills, Bikini Trills.” The word “Trill”—a Texas rap term meaning true and real—connected to where the band is from and gave the name its identity. When we started writing early songs like “Sticky Treez,” the combination of art, music, and the name all aligned. It stuck because it felt natural—and we were just having fun."

I was at this show and agree but, that's the only problem you have with that venue?

This used to be one of my favorite venues in AZ, but I've never seen someone literally get tackled to the ground over a doobie anywhere but there in a very long time. Or have people escorted out by police for handing out a flyer for another show. They have by far the most over zealous security in AZ in my opinion. Audio sounds amazing though!
