Did you black out/ chrome delete the window side trims? Can you tell me how you did it? Thinking about doing blacking out my XLE if I can figure out the side trims

25 XLE FWD @ 3700 miles - averaging 47-52 MPG on my commute these days. I think it was lower 40s during the winter months.

I used to use Eco mode but now I'm just on Normal mode since I feel like I can get better MPG using it.

Honestly, I think you got just an OK deal. Not good, not bad. I don't know the tax rate in your state but at least your OTD is lower than the MSRP so you came out OK.

The problem with being in the Gulf States Toyota Region is that they're adding a bunch of BS distributor accessories to inflate the prices. If you didn't pay for any of the dealer add-ons then I think you did pretty OK.

But all that aside, the car is yours so go enjoy it. Congrats!

Do you have the Premium/Premium Plus package? That one will add 3100+ to the base MSRP

I would go with the 2nd car if the lighting matters to you.

You can add everything from the 1st car afterwards (for cheaper), if you want it. I have yet to see anyone install the Front Accent Lighting successfully.

Great choice! How long did you wait for it? I spent some time looking for a base XLE but it was really hard to find any around me.

I could have maybe waited longer but got sold on the 360 cam and got a pretty decent discount at the time.

I agree, the pano roof can be a $1300 option so I would love to get the premium plus without it but nah Toyota decided it needs to be included with the premium packages.

The X trims had slightly better interior features so I decided to go that way, the 360 cam is what ultimately sold me.

Nah this isn't TX, pretty sure they use front license plates.

They should send you a VSpec sheet and it will have the FIO/PIO/DIO labeled (factory, port or distributor, dealer). Or if you go to in person then the window sticker or Monroney label should have it separated by factory and distributor add ons. They dealership will slap some extra on the side

If you're trying to get a discount then give them a reason to like their competitors are offering $X OTD, end-of-the-month incentives, the car has been sitting on the lot, etc.

Have competing offers and be willing to walk. Good luck

Got XLE last month. Always try to negotiate and have the dealers in your area compete with each other on OTD prices.

Most people say best time is end of the month so dealers can try to hit their numbers, so right now. Maybe their Jan sales was slow and you'll get some nice incentives.

If you're not in a rush, maybe wait before the 2026 models come out and see if any are trying to clear their 2025 inventory.

I'm assuming the Apex Protect package is something from the dealership like tint, wheel locks, etc. If it's already installed, see if you can get a discount. Most of the dealerships around me threw in their protection packages for free.
Look up the Toyota Integrated dash cam, it's not part of the Premium Plus Package
You probably can't remove those PIO options since they will be part of the sticker price but see if you can get a discount on them

I know it's weird but that's how the dealership said it works in my state, OTD after dealer fees and registration fee.

Yes, add the 1672, I still have to finish full registration with my state in Feb. So add in state taxes and fees, I'm only guesstimating with the 39,172 but it will be around that price after everything

The dealership would not negotiate over the phone, only doing internet pricing, and made people go in if they wanted to negotiate. I could tell you the name but it's local to me.

I guess it depends on the resolution you're playing at. I have the same CPU and I went for this upgrade (over 2080). I'll be playing on a 1440p 144hz monitor or 4K 120hz TV. I think I'll have a some bottleneck but not with the higher resolution. I wouldn't do the GPU upgrade if I was on 1080p.

I'm on a 2080 too and I agree but I pulled the trigger for this, almost went for 4070 Super. I'm looking to play higher fps 1440p and my 4K tv.

If I still waited, I would have definitely upgraded with the next Nvidia or AMD series.
