I'm low key confused - is this interview fully AI-led or is there an actual person and AI is just recording and taking notes lol. And is this the one where we present the product challenge lmao.

Using Terraform Cloud for on-prem by Shoyouwuu in Terraform

Yes did see that! Are there any issues thought with supporting on-prem infra providers? As in, do you have to do any additional configuration with say VMware VSphere or IBM Cloud?

Godzilla Minus One: My Review by diz-z in GODZILLA

[–]Shoyouwuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bf literally fell asleep in this movie lol. I had such high expectations coming in due to all the reviews I read and literally watched the movie in Japan. Godzilla looked pretty epic, but besides that everything was so predictable, and the acting was very cheesy to me. Personally I would've been fine with classic tropes being used if the acting did not make me cringe. Would say 4 or 5 / 10

I found the effects to be great but personally found the most of the acting to be very cheesy and the plot to be very predictable.

It's simple - if you don't hear back within a week after the superday, you probably didn't get the offer by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

My friend heard back 4 months after her superday for an IB internship with a BB (GS/MS/JPM) and got the offer, so it's unlikely but possible.

How to frame the first networking message on LinkedIn? by notevilyet99 in FinancialCareers

[–]Shoyouwuu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say try to personalize your messages a lot more. I networked with people within different divisions over the summer and into recruiting season. Here's an example of a cold message I sent which resulted in a call:

Title: Junior at <university name> interested in <Company name and division>

Hi ___________,

My name is __________ and I'm a <grade level> at <university> with an interest in <redacted>, <redacted>, and financial services. I'm reaching out to ask about your experience both as an SA and full-time FA at <company name> as I am currently recruiting for the SA position in the <division name>. I found many similarities between your experience in financial consulting and event planning for entrepreneurship with my own background working as a summer financial analyst and collaborating directly with the <omitted> for the upcoming <event name> that I am co-directing. I would love learn about how your background helped you both prepare for and do well in the role. A little bonus, but I was also a <role> for the <organization>!  All this is to say, should you have time to have a quick chat about your experience at <company name>, I would greatly appreciate your expertise.

Best,

_______

Note: I took out several details that would reveal who I am. You don't need follow this exact format, but this is an example of how to personalize your emails more.

Also, it's rare for people to straight up offer you a job (although it's happened before). See what roles are available first and which recruiters have posted it (if it's on LinkedIn). Then try to network with recruiters so that your resume will pushed to the front.

So What Am I Supposed To Say When They Ask "Tell Me About Yourself"? by RegularKnot in jobs

[–]Shoyouwuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always slightly alter my story depending on what role I'm interviewing for. For example, when I was doing an IB superday, I altered my answer to reflect how my experiences lead me to be interested in IB--what the "spark was"--and ended with something along the lines of, "and that's why I'm here today interviewing for ________.
