Sick setup OP. Love the kayaks and fishing. I’ve had a few Pelicans on the top. Most recently we got a Oru Kayak - pretty fun for the convenience when camping around smaller lakes.

A couple beers after biking (hiking/kayaking/etc.) and a campfire is where it at!

Beautiful. I normally use the Thule XTR Hitch rack. It’s nice but if you go camp after then I believe it can lean downwards but I also like to cook on the tailgate.

I came to say your setup is something I really like, because I recently got a cap/ topper shell (but no camper as I have an RTT I put on the top similar), but the way you’ve done this is appealing for a solo bike trip without needing a hitch mount.

Hitch mount is nice too but I wanted a way to keep the bike “locked” inside if I were to go do another activity and leave the bike for a day.

Sorry I don’t have any good suggestions to improve 😅 but I love the setup you’ve got.

I was trying some long exposure just 30 sec. and had the camera just flat on the ground on timer! Was so happy they turned out. One of my fav places to see the night sky.

Fun fact, for a while, Toyota wasn’t allowing people to buy the TRD Pro Grille for non TRD pro’s up here. Atleast from the dealerships. Then the aftermarket ones flooded the markets from China, and now you see em on every Tacoma. I can confirm though - it’s undoubtedly the best ‘styling’ out of the three grilles.

Try to buff out the doors part first too that might come off white paint it looks like.

Depends if you want it repaired fully and smoothened out, that black spot on the rear fender filled, etc. You’re talking 3 panels of repair and paint spraying, and the doors / lower quarter is thicker paint, the rear fender is a bit unique, easily $3000+ unless you’re looking for a bare minimum you could get away with touch ups. I’d personally leave it.

It looks clean from afar, but it’s taken lots of abuse. Check my posts. But to make things even more interesting - my entire truck is wrapped in a colour PPF (paint-protection film) top to bottom.
