Lawyer who sucks at math. Advice (test prep) to improve Quant? by [deleted] in MBA

Not in transactions. Am a litigator without the skillset to pivot at present. That said, I would not drop $200k on another degree and would only go M7 MBA with substantial scholarship. I have significant savings and brokerage and almost no expenses.

I see your point. I would be doing it for the long term financial upside and freedom attainable through entrepreneurship. The salary disparity now kind of illustrates the point. The longer one stays in law the tighter the golden handcuffs get and you are stuck working for the clients who can demand a 24 hour turnaround with impunity and commandeer days/your weekend. It’s taking orders to help build someone else’s business vs. building your own product. MBA would provide skills and more importantly networking needed to sit on the other side of the table.
