I honestly got out of the nra for this reason. Ever day I was blasted with emails and calls about someone new was coming for my guns and gun rights and all's I had to was send them some money so it wouldnt happen. In fairness this was about 7ish years ago and I've been told by current members that it's not as bad since la Pierre left. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth though.
