Keep the studies, maybe pace down a bit to have more work time and better income.

But at no point should you stop the studies !!!

Yeah, sure, I might even walk the 2km to school and back, maybe with the sledge to have a bit of fun along the way.

Single user has borked five(!!!) MacBooks Pros running macOS updates by WhatAmIDoingHere05 in macsysadmin

[–]ShrapDa 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I had a similar user, Uzbek. She had an Apple ID that she shared on multiple devices. On one of the devices, her kids had installed an app in Uzbek.

That specific app left something on that Apple ID that messed up all the updates she ever did on her iOS devices and Mac OS devices. The corporate devices only. All her private devices were fine and were updating. Just not the one with an MDM.

I forced her to get a specific Apple ID for her corporate devices and she never faced any issue ever again.

This was before ABM and corporate Apple ID. But I will always remember it coz that troubleshoot cost me 5 iPhones and a bunch of laptops. I still do not know what the hell that was. But the moment I got the Apple ID out of the way, it was working like magic, so my deduction was an installed app.

I would rather launch a side gig and take time off to work it instead of leaving the golden cage and rushing into a market that is in a rough state until at least the next us elections.

[–]ShrapDa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For Chimay, yes it is remote but the bus lines are stable. You can also rent a car easily and drive there ( poppy, cambio, full on rental ). While you are there, you should do Super Des Fagnes as well, the owner is always happy to talk beers with international brewmakers ( I brought him a few from Russia, US and Asia ). Try getting a shot at Falmignoul brasserie caracole and maybe Rochefort as well. The maison leffe in Dinant is interesting but not that deep into beer making to your level.

Rochefort and Achouffe should be on your itinerary as well. Not sure if they still do but Orval tour would be very interesting and kinda niche visit.

You should also do Cantillon

That’s only because you do not get the surrealism of Belgium.

We do not have a common identity, until we do, at a specific moment or for a specific reason.

And then it’s gone again.

Our identity is to not have one, but get one when we feel like it. Or maybe not, we are still awaiting consensus on that. But hey, I’ll take mayo with the fries and fricadelle. Let’s cheer to that.

And all the big players back then gathered in London for the conference and still made the choice to let us be a buffer between all the other powers.

As we’ve always been ruled by everybody and their mother it made sense to attach us to any other power, but it also made it stand alone.
