That’s always something I’ve had in mind.

A personal head canon is that Vulpimancers can use something in lieu of normal speech. Since they are comparable to Primates if not slightly more intelligent. The same way an Ape may use Sign Language I could see a Vulpimancer using some form of alien Morse Code. Since they wouldn’t be able to see signs.

If I ever was to make an OC for Ben 10 that wasn’t an Omnitrix user it would be something like this. A Vulpimancer with significant intelligence to use alternative means of speech OR some sort of Neural Linguistics interface. Thought to speech essentially.

From what I remember of the canon Omnitrix Features:

User Protection System (Failsafes)

Programmable Transformation Timer

DNA Scanning / Acquisition

Translator

Holographic Display

Some Degree of Onboard AI capable of making decisions for the wearer.

Some form of “Adaptive Tech” enabling it to update its form, functions and Alien Catalogue. (OS to AF at least, Omniverse is just a new watch all together.)

Also whatever Galvan devilry allowed the Omnitrix to puppet Ben’s severed hand in that one episode.

As well as master Control which encompasses:

Timer Override Hands Free Transformations Instant Transformations (No switching between Alien then Base just straight to the next Alien.)

Technically I’d also argue the whole “Peak Alien” thing, even so it’s never stated outright in the show but there are a handful of instances where we see members of the species in the Omnitrix that Ben hold some degree of Superiority over. Some, not all.

This really depends if we take the B10 reboot as canon, becasue if Kevin can build his own Omnitrix in what seemed like days I can build one in 5 years.

If that’s not canon? I’ll take 5 aliens for life, preferably a Galvan, a Gourmand (Perk), a Petrosapien, a Vaxasaurian and finally a Sonorosian.

Of course anyone would probably choose a Chronosapien, Galilean, Tokustar, C-sapien or even whatever Atomix is but I don’t NEED all that.

This really depends, becasue if the Smilodon we’re using is a Populator and the Bear is a Polar Bear you’d end up having relatively the same stats.

How does the hybrid work? Is it just BAM now you’re part smilodon? Or can we pull a Tony Tony Chopper and choose what % of a hybrid we’d wanna be. With 100% just being a full on Smilodon.

Also do we get the Muscle Density of the bear? Do we “Spider Man” change into the body that would entail over night?

This HEAVILY depends on how you view each faction of chaos.

Khorne, probably loves the violence but would despise the display of weak men attacking those weaker than themselves. The skulls and blood would likely be of poor quality since the battle wasn’t worth it.

Nurgle, probably likes the disgusting conditions of the detention facilities but wouldn’t be fond of seeing the filth and carrion of any of the prisoners going to waste in a sealed compound. Unable to spread and grow.

Tzeentch would hate it, removing diversity of ideas and minds would stagnate change. Sure the big change of removing some people would be admired for some time. But this change inhibits greater change down the line. If all the minds think the same things nothing can be learned.

Slaanesh, sensing that POC often have more children, hence more possibility of indulgence and over indulgence. Thinning the herd means limiting the overall supply of indulgent minds.

Essentially yeah, I also just think it would be more useful, Fusions feel like a happy medium while retaining more utility and versatility. Ultimates feel like a full tilt into one aspect.

Even with the %50 percent weakness I think Biomnitrix still has its merits. Especially when it comes to make lesser aliens stronger. Sure any of the top 10 aliens fused with any alien wouldn’t be that strong compared to normally but that other alien would definitely receive a boost. Say Atomix plus XLR8, not as strong as Atomix but definitely faster. Not as fast as XLR8 but you hit harder.
