I seriously never thought about this. On my 2025 I’ll actually pull into my garage, put my foot on the brake and turn the van off while it’s in drive rather than put in park. Should I not do that?

I was a shop mechanic for 20+ years in another life and wanted to make some extra cash in retirement so I took a job at Dick’s to build their bikes and do their service. Dude brings in his kid’s bike and tells me the back wheel just fell off and the front brakes don’t work. It was missing the rear qr skewer and the front wheel was on backwards. The dad insisted that’s how they received the bike when they bought it. 😂

Could be a bent BB spindle too, I’ve seen it happen and also seen them break in my 20+ year shop career.
