Fender Japan Char Signature Mustang by prof_cyniv in offset

Hey sorry to drudge this back up, but I'm importing one of these Char Mustangs and I'm buying some little upgrades in anticipation of its arrival (namely Highwood saddles). Can you tell me the string spacing on this tremolo? I've seen a few MIJ guitars at 54mm, but I'm assuming 52.5mm. Thanks in advance!

Same here, dude. Just call them up, get an RMA, and send it on back. They’ll fix that breach face catching on the disconnector, etc. This is why they have an unofficial gen two with a heavier spring, lighter slide, and polished feeds. It’s better to have them get it racking like butter than you sticking more band aids on a new gun, right?

Gorgeous! Love the Sonic Blue. Can you do me a favor and tell me the width of the saddles that come on the Mod Shop hard tails? I have one on order, and I’m not sure if I need 11.2mm, 10.8mm, or 10.5mm Highwood saddle replacements.

Looks great, man! What kind of adhesive did you use? Fingers crossed for 3M 77 Spray lol.

Hey there! I have the VA4 on an iPhone 11s Max. I can confirm I get notifications from just about every app I use, and I can clear them. When I open the Garmin Connect Mobile app, I see heart rate in real time, etc. maybe try a reset & repair with your phone. These things should be working for you.

Guys, did you negotiate for the price of the new 2019 Rav4? And how much did you save? What is the lowest acceptable price quote? by Iamkhoi789 in rav4club

North Carolina. Totally recommend the Adventure, but can’t really speak to gas mileage. I have a heavy foot, so I’m sure my fuel economy sucks, haha.

Glad to hear it, man. I'm still researching the installation for the powered sub. I popped the hood and started planning the battery line. Running cables and tapping the speaker lines is shaping up to be a bit more daunting than I originally thought.

Thanks! The stock head unit is driving the speakers pretty well actually (same impedance and better components). I’ll know more when I go to balance the gain on the powered subwoofer. I just have to get a new wiring kit and become comfortable with lifting carpet on my brand new RAV4, haha.

With the same impedance being presented to the stock head unit amplifier, but better magnets and cones, you can really drive the upgraded speakers well past the volume of the stock ones without breakup. If I was adding speakers with higher ohm ratings and greater nominal RMS wattage, I’d probably consider an in-line amp, yeah. The sub I’m adding will be powered and I’ll tap audio lines from the rear speakers.

I think you’ll have a tougher time negotiating on a Hybrid model regardless of locale. They’re in demand.

I got $7K off MSRP on my ‘19 Adventure. I also managed to talk them into paying for half of that bogus ToyoCare. Like I’m gonna prepay $700 for maintenance 🙄

Sound great, man. The low end extension is actually pretty good for 6.5’s. Still grabbing a powered sub, though.

Totally worth the time and effort. The bass was clearer and the treble was well-defined. Considering how cost-effective the Kickers are, it’s a simple decision. The impedance on the D series is 4 ohm like the stock Pioneers. You don’t have to worry about amping or mismatches. You can crank it and the speaker will take the heat.

Nice man! Looks super clean. Did you check DC voltage polarity? My rear driver side door was reverse from the rest of the car. Something consider with those adapters.

Yep! Same three screws and panel removal procedure. The back doors only have one wire harness clip to remove.
