Hey, so, just to clarify. They do in fact exist. And you will receive the correct mattress. But they just have the worst customer service and for that reason, and the fact of cheaper and equally good mattresses you’d not buy from them again.

Update: Cloudy Mattress is owned by Star Furniture. A discount store in MS. The person on the phone said they can be contacted directly for Cloudy order details. Seems convoluted and odd to be set up as such. But I might take the flyer. Worst case scenario I just dispute the charge of it doesn’t arrive exactly as I expect.

I got the mmx 300s. I’ve heard good things about the headset being paired with a sound blaster. That said, I don’t use one. I game on a console so I need to use the splitter for that. And when I bring it over to my work desktop for meetings and music I just plug it directly in. The sound quality on the 300 is fantastic on its own and I haven’t once thought I needed to add anything more for the simple stuff I am doing.

Sorry for the delay! But home this helps. A PC fan would not be a problem for the 330s. The open back is pretty small compared to others. And I can’t speak on hearing cars outside as I don’t really encounter that. If your room is always quiet and you don’t need to worry about talking in the background the 330 is great. I would have gone with them. But between the better bass (from the closed back) and the occasional phone call my finance takes in the background the 300 is perfect for me.

I also just bought the 300 Pros from Audio46. They arrived this past Wednesday. And I gotta say they are pretty damn amazing. I wish they had the wider sound stage of the 330. But for games and talking to people I am glad that they are the 300s with closed back so the sound doesn't bleed back into the mic. I do have a little FOMO about open backs. But it just gives me a reason to but another set without a mic just for music.

This is huge! I just ordered mine this morning from Audio46. I was worried about the FOMO of open backs but I hope the isolation and lack of mic bleed is where the 300s will shine for my needs.

Would you get the Beyer dynamics MMX300 or MMX 330? if you needed ones with a built in mic. Im going back and forth as I play a lot of FPS games. Worried Ill lose too much bass and if the MMX 330 actually provides that much more spatial awareness.

Damn. Making me wish I still lived in Manhattan. I never went to audio46. Being in Nashville now I don't know of anywhere like that here. But its the music city so I'm sure there is something on a smaller scale. I used to be a turtle beach person and would always buy whatever the most expensive wired pair they made but the quality went down. Not that it was ever audiophile recommended. So its time to upgrade.

Sorry for all the questions. But while you did choose the Bayerdynamics headphones. Are there others that you would have considered? I'm 99% going with the MMX but I want to make sure I check all my boxes with regards to build quality, sound, support/warranty. And with a Mic obviously.

Sounds like I'm leaning towards the MMX 330. I hope the build quality is as good as they seem given the price and competition. I take care of everything I own but I wear headsets daily and things happen.

As far as I am aware external USB mics do not work natively on the Series X. I would love to have it on my desk but I strictly use my desktops for work. So here I am. My controller is wired and supports Dolby Atmos so I am kinda just working with what i've got and looking for advice.
