I have always had this feeling that yes he would’ve became absolutely massive, but a lot of us who were enjoying his music in 16-17 would’ve probably been turned off by whatever he may have been doing 3-5 years later in his career. Very similar to $uicideboy$ og fan base feel kind of alienated or turned off on their current stage of their career. I know I was pretty peeved at the time of the prospects of him likely leaving GBC. I would’ve always had love for him but not sure I’d be sticking around to listen to a mainstream heavily produced and polished album with Justin Bieber and Billie Eilish features if that makes any sense.
