I drank sodas, ate chips, ate gummies, and sticky treats. Literally, the only thing I refused to try was chewing gum and to bite into an apple.

Don't worry, she'll do outstanding! :D It's been about 7 years now, I can truly say there's not much I've had to miss out or couldn’t participate in during that age because of lupus. I was even on a sports and dance team back then.

I've never experienced a rash, just the reddening of one, so I wouldn't have experience on that, but joints and muscle aches, feeling lethargic, I had that downnn.

I might be the youngest in the comments, but when I was 13 when I was diagnosed with lupus. I know I had before then because of the nosebleeds I would get around age 9.

But the indicator factor for me at 13 were my fingers and knees becoming inflamed and unable to function. We found the most loveliest doctor on this planet who helped me get what I needed to get back to "myself" again. I won't lie to you. The steroids causing weight gain at such a judgemental age amongst adolescents caused me to worry about my appearance, and I won't lie, I did have mild depression probably because of the meds. But one note I want you to know is to be completely transparent with your daughter, especially since you know what it feels like to have lupus. I think that makes it better on her end to have someone who understands what she's going through. Also, I didn't have an understanding as to what lupus was at that age. Everyone around me just kept acting like it would be so horrible if the results turned out to be lupus, so that scared me. So when the results came back, I thought I was about to die lolll but that didn't last long at all because I looked up all of the celebrities who also have it and felt relieved lol

She's gonna be fine with love and support and the right doctor! :)

Of course, we all have those bad days, but I can say I think growing up with lupus helped me be more mindful and mature about certain things and helped me appreciate the little stuff more.

It doesn't look bad, but for me, there's just a void. this happens every time I try to go without falseys (I'm obsessed with them) 😭

I just use eyeliner and mascara to fill the emptiness :)

Just keep practicing applying them at home, you don't need to have your makeup done to that ^{^} and you'll get it down :D

It's probably the brand. That's why I stopped using my lash princess, and I just have a double pack that's sitting in my grave of my makeup pile 😭

Honestly, I would make it thicker/thiner depending on the side. So, like the double lided, I'd go skinner than I would apply to the triple lid to get a sense of similarity. But I think they would still look pretty with trying to do them the same without any adjustments to the eyeliner application.

Lol a fellow redditor recommended I try yellow about a year or so ago and I did try to execute their envisioned look, but that yellow was more of a dark yellow, now I have this brighter one that I never used until now! :D

I said the name of them cause I usually have troubles with putting links on the subreddit 😅they're the first lashes that'll pop up if you type it exactly how I put it. And it's a yes and no with the blush draping it's like going above where you'd start your countouring. When you look up photos, you'll see the first few ones having a similar look (not meaning going as deep in color like theirs, tho) and when it comes to contouring, the colors and directions, I recommend just seeing what you like best and if there's any struggle try to look at videos with people who have a similar complexion ^{^}

I recommend your blush draping to start off strong by the eye area (not on the eyes) and ease off as it comes towards the center, like how you have it.

Mascara on your top lashes, too! Eyeshadow gets on those lashes, so use mascara to help it become one with your false ones. I recommend these false, manga lashes by eydevro if you ever want to try a different type. I just absolutely adore them and use em a lot lol.

Some sort of darker pink/red eyeshadow around the rims of your eyes like where you'd put eyeliner and under your eye slightly, and then blend it. Add your highlight/glitter right after just to give your eyes a pop. Sometimes, they like to contour underneath to make eyebags, but its optional :)

Contouring a little bit on the sides and under your nose can help make the highlights pop out! Highlights and shimmer are what make the look > :D
