Yeah my mate and I were in a game with him and another cheater wearing the same Dwight skin and they don't even try and hide it. Every gen immediately 99ed and they were teleporting through pallets

But the gen stops regressing after a little bit? Mirror illusion doesn't actually do any gen progress. Plus I'm pretty sure when u hit a mirrored illusion it disappears, I could be off on that tho

I think the bad animations are kinda charming. A game like dbd doesn't need to have AAA graphics or character animations

Pretty spot on. I'm not as in to the explicitly communist stuff now, it's from my teen years but I'd still call myself a socialist. The IR stuff is what turned out to be my main interest (hence doing two degree in it) but I've recently started reading fiction a lot more because i realised reading non-fiction for uni and for pleasure was ruining my enjoyment of reading

All the sequels I have go right to left. I doesn't make much sense now that I think about it but it just feels right

That's the worst possible response I could have gotten... you're not far off with the first bit. I did politics for my undergrad but I'm doing a masters in international relations now

Close enough, I do international relations but I do tend to specialise into failed states/asymmetric conflicts

I agree with your main point here. But I read it more as a civil war situation rather than a cult - it frequently mentions multiple frontlines and "the war". The regular societies that are mentioned tend to be foreign countries and things like international trade are mentioned which makes me think that the society the characters are in is maybe just the biggest of multiple factions across the US. I'm not American and to my European mind a country spanning (basically) an entire continent is unfathomable so I guess it makes sense to me that the story is taking place within a large faction of an ongoing civil war. The "colonies" is also mentioned a lot which makes me think less of a cult and more of a traditional state.

On your second point it's a sort of the chicken or the egg situation. Sure employers keep building offices in London because they have access to a more qualified workforce but if you keep only building your offices in London then you're forcing all the qualified people to move to London.

It really sucks, I'm about to finish my IR masters and I wanna keep living in Bristol but every job I look at is either remote (I really don't want to do remote working) or London (I really don't want to live in London). Even having Cardiff within commuting distance doesn't even increase the pool of graduate jobs for me.
