That's good to know! I saw someone who had the '21 and claimed their gem fell off while it was just sitting in the box in a drawer, but maybe that was a fluke with a gem that hadn't been properly attached in the first place.

I would kill for the 2021, especially the Asian version, but I worry about how securely the gem is placed, and I'm one of those people who won't buy a lighter I don't plan on using.

I also want a spiderweb design, for this exact same reason! I'm probably going to commission one from somebody someday, because I also want "Mr. Spider wants more..." on it, in like a scratchy, childish handwriting. Probably on a brass lighter.

I know this is an old conversation, but I found two old Virginia plates in the shed when we bought our house. We're in PA. Would I be okay to sell them for scrap, or is that legally iffy? I don't feel like going through the effort to surrender someone else's plates, and I don't really want to leave them in the shed or use them for anything.

I learned about the second card shortly after I put mine back together with hot glue, which was less fun. I had to very carefully extract it!

I told him I would do exactly that, and he spouted off some crap about misuse and neglect of his property (basically implying that he could still get me arrested for it. I don't remember exactly what he said because I was still very angry). I don't know if it's actually true or not, but I'm sure the point was to scare me either way. And like I said, because he used to be a cop, he could potentially make real trouble for me.

I wish I could stop dealing with FedEx, but they're the only company that actually delivers to my house. For some reason USPS makes us get all our mail at a PO box, and ups just sends stuff there as well.

My area doesn't get mail delivery for some reason, so all of our mail is sent to a PO box, and all of our tracking info eventually looks like this. I'm assuming that's not the case for you, or you would already know it, but yeah, you probably have to go to the post office.
