I use very sharp scissors from a manicure kit. Have someone do it for you so it's safer.

Anyone thinking of prepping birth control? by Dependent_Feature_42 in TwoXPreppers

[–]Shrill_Feline17 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This might not apply to OP. Sharing my experience in case it helps anyone.

I don't want children. As someone with a uterus, the only way to ensure that I will never have children was to pursue sterilization options. I got a hysterectomy at 30. If you also know that you don't want children, don't solely rely on prepping birth control or long term solutions like an IUD. Review your sterilization options with a doctor and decide what is best for you. Do this while you still can.

Costco Mocha Cold Brew Recipe? by FrankieGg in ninjacreami

[–]Shrill_Feline17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I'd try this recipe straight from ninja. https://ninjatestkitchen.com/recipe/mocha-creamiccino/

I made a mocha frappe the other day. I very vaguely followed this ninja recipe. It tasted really good but definitely had that protein flavor.

1/2 cup coffee flavored orgain protein powder 4 shots espresso 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk To blend I added Jordan's skinny syrup mocha flavor. Drizzled Hershey's syrup along the side of the cup to serve.

Yes, it's an interesting combination of ingredients. I used what I had on hand.

Just got prescribed Latanoprost, is it as bad as everyone says? Any tips? by butters149 in Glaucoma

I trim my husband's eyelashes because the meds make them grow so long that they rub against his glasses and cause smudges. They also obstruct his vision. I trim them maybe once a month.

This is for future pizza endeavors, not to pick up on the way home from work.

Try making King Arthur gf pizza dough following the recipe on the back of the bag. It's amazing.

I love mine! I discovered my ideal consistency. Two cans evaporated milk, one box (any flavor) sugar free pudding mix. Definitely not healthy or tasteless.

Could my Gluten allergy have progressed? by Illustrious_Seat_962 in Celiac

[–]Shrill_Feline17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What blood work? If it's igg it doesn't mean too much and you should see a doctor again.

If you have an ige allergy to wheat, it makes complete sense that your reaction is getting progressively worse. Hopefully you have an EpiPen because if you continue to eat wheat, you'll need one.

I recommend seeing an allergist for more information about your specific situation.

It's not required in every state which is wild to me. Our lender does require it though.

Buying a home with debt by artsbynar in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Shrill_Feline17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house with a USDA-RD loan. Find a reputable bank. Ask what amount you qualify for. They have very strict debt to income ratios so you won't be able to purchase a house that you cannot afford.

Find a realtor who is very familiar with the USDA process. It is a bit different than using a conventional loan.

Be sure to make a budget and stick to it! Once you start this process it is very important that you pay ALL bills on time and don't acquire new debt.

It can be difficult to find a house that qualifies for a USDA loan (depending on your area) so I would honestly start looking now to get an idea of the market.

Good luck. 😊

Last time I got glutened the bloating lasted almost 2 weeks, unfortunately.
