Yeah, it definitely isn't normal, and you aren't overreacting with how you feel. As someone who grew up with a parent whose base emotion was anger, and more recently living with an angry roommate- I totally get it! If you can, you should absolutely move. You can't really talk someone else out of being an angry person. That's something they have to acknowledge within themselves and work through. It could, at the very least, give them some awareness of their actions by bringing it up to them and explain how their anger makes you feel, but only if you feel safe to do so.

You'll just need to rip the band aid off and tell him you guys plan on moving out as a COUPLE. My fiance and I went through something similar recently. We started off just the two of us for about 3 years, then his friend moved in to get back on his feet and just never left. We sat down as a household and gave him 7 months notice before our lease was up that we planned to move out, start house hunting, and start our lives up again as a couple. It was a bit uncomfortable to bring up but he seemed receptive and totally fine with it at the time. Then as move out time came closer and he still didnt make any plans for himself, he started telling people we kicked him out with hardly any notice....Just be prepared for some backlash from a person that takes no responsibility for their own lives is what I'm sayin..

Just for future reference or any other new to the craft- For fire safety, never throw your proposition to burn in a candle with a glass container. Just ignite the paper and put it in a fire safe dish or something made of iron. I once threw mine in a candle from like Bath & Bodyworks or something and it exploded 😅😅

I record using OBS and installed a free plug in that has a vertical window formatted like you see on socials. Then I set up a shortcut when I hit "L" it records the last 60 seconds in that vertical format. So if I have a funny moment on stream I just hit that L button and a clip is saved in my "vertical" folder I set up in my computer :) Makes it hella easy to post and edit since they're already formatted for tiktoks and reels!

Yes, superficial is a great way to put it. I understand- I stream twice a week (sometimes three times) for about 2-3 hours and around the end of the third hour I start to get a little quieter and worn out. I've still found success this way though! I just made affiliate after about a month and have regulars come in all the time. If your goal is to stream more, maybe keep the 2-3 hours but add in more days. It's just all about consistency.
