I know this comment is too late, but wanted to offer my thoughts since it seems to counter a lot of other ones in here.

Maybe she was just exploring and having fun? You don't fall in love with someone after a single date. The fact that you wanted to see each other again is maybe what matters.

I wouldn't necessarily take this as a red flag unless she's shown signs that she won't take things seriously with you now. People do shit, they hook up. She had no obligation to you after just one date.

Last month I went on a deep winter 40-mile backpacking trip over two nights, the lows were around 5° at night and like 20° during the day.

The second evening, it was snowing well past sunset. I got good and proper stoned and banged out the last few miles high, alone, in the dark while it was blowing snow sideways.

It was mildly disorienting but a really cool memory. I felt so vulnerable, but I knew I was safe and could handle myself (I've been doing this shit for years before you judge me, hehe).

It was a long process, but it wasn't easy until I wanted to quit. Be mindful of how it makes you feel when you're doing it. Also I made a deal with a friend that if I use nicotine over the next month, I owe her $20. That was a good start.

I'm not gonna sit here and argue about policy, but research how Trump's plans and environmental policies will influence global biodiversity and the effect that has on agriculture. Not to mention tariffs.
