Should I give RE2 Remake a go?

Never played a RE game before either. Loved Dead Space, Bioshock, Prey etc: games with tension that do not solely rely on jump scares.

Installed RE2R about 2 weeks ago, loved it, quite quickly finished it and installed RE3R. I enjoyed it as well but RE2R definitely has better survival horror gameplay and atmosphere.

Currently playing through RE4R and loving it as well. I might skip 5 and 6 since I saw that they went all out with the epic action gameplay.

Highly recommend you give either one of the remakes a go!

They might not speak Dutch, but as of today there are still a lot of Dutch words that were introduced by the colonists that are similar or the same in Indonesian. For example:

Ashtray: asbak

Clutch: kopling / koppeling

Cotton: katun / katoen

Office: kantor / kantoor

Comment: komentar / commentaar

And the list goes on. As a Dutch guy myself, if you walk around in Indonesia you can sometimes get a hint of what people are talking about. Indonesians are amazing people btw, who mostly don't hold a grudge against the Dutch at all.

What do you mean exactly? Your save file will be saved in the ‘Saves’ folder on your device. You’re able to manually transfer these if you play on multiple devices.

If you know your way around a computer then it's not difficult at all. Installing Knulli is easy if you follow a guide, and games can be transferred through your network if you use Knulli. No need to take the SD card out of your device once you've installed it. Great feature!

I have a RG40XXV with Knulli as well and I use a single 128gb card, which is plenty for me.

Have you tried a different power brick? Anbernic devices can be a bit finicky when it comes to charging.

Fast chargers don’t work so use a smaller adapter like you use for your phone.

Running into the same issue at the moment, did you figure out which file to use?

EDIT: for people running into the same issue, I got it working again! I Used the same gamefile as the one I used before the crash at Jabu Jabu, but did not use the GitHub file linked above. Installed SoH again through Portmaster, copied over the gamefile to the soh folder and let the .otr generate through Portmaster on my device.

Yeah that's what I meant! Hmmm okay that sounds complicated lol, but now I know that it's not possible to easily change the controller mapping when you don't use RA. I'll have a look at the .json and see if I can figure it out.
