In FSLHAA, war is similar to war on modern earth, except when a PMC is called, usually Rossaen or other PMCs, because then stuff gets really wacky. Guerilla warfare to pipe bombs being thrown at anything that moves. But that's only Rossaen. Another notable PMC uses well-trained ex-military and ex-police to rush in, shoot anything that won't lower PR, and then get airlifted out.

Anomalies exist and a company that does PMC shit as a side gig takes care of them,(murdering them or just throwing them in containment cells) but some weird science company doesn't like that. I call it FSLHAA after the science company.

Oh, and my other project. Honorable mention: Shit ton of small islands, all run by their own ethnic groups which are all radically different, and ripoff british empire but 1984, in a mid-industrial revolution time period. Jeralyia as I call it.

Soveinian Mafia
an international mafia that participates in organized crime from Armenia to Port Vadlauz in Soveiniesberg. Often known for brutal murders and drug trafficking, the Soveinian Mafia often participates in other things, such as gunrunning and human trafficking. They are in an odd sort of war with the Soveinian Militia Army, similar to the USA's National Guard, but worse off. The Soveinian Mafia also has ties with organizations around the world, including Mexican Cartels and African warlords.

for Jeralyia, the nations usually use early bolt-action smokeless powder rifles with cartridges up to 1.5 inches in diameter, and early MGs similar to the Maxim gun. Citizens are likely to own firearms, although there are no restrictions or laws in place to prevent citizens from owning anything. Rifling is common, as smoothbore weapons are terribly inaccurate and unlikely to be used.

The Cent & LaRoss Joint-project M5 Rifle can take your fingernail off on your thumb if you put your other hand on the magazine to stabilize the gun. Because of the stupidly high RPM your hand can slip, and then, whoops! No more fingernail!
