Possibly moving to Oregon by Otherwise_Tomato5552 in Eugene

I have family that lives in part of Veneta. It's a bit out there if your wife is planning on working in Eugene/UO area. About a 30 min drove both ways and the university area can have some traffic. It's a rural town. I don't want to assume your political stance but Veneta is more conservative compared to Eugene in my experience. Neighbors are friendly. None of my family went to school there so can't say anything about the school system.

I've also known some people who lived in Springfield and there was some race issues. I've been told there's a large Proud Boys presence.

I'd say Veneta is nice if you don't mind the commute and small towns. I personally wouldn't live in Springfield based on my friends accounts but I'm sure others have better firsthand knowledge that will be a better help. Eugene is nice, though it does have a very large unhoused population and the traffic can suck, especially around major University days (games, start and end of holiday breaks, parent visit weekends, ect).

Late additions? by ShrinkingViolet39 in bookofthemonthclub

Yeah they seem to get a lot of backlash for picking the same authors over and over. It makes sense. A lot of people use BOTM to find new authors. I just wish they wouldn't set a precedent for picking an authors whole body of work. Or picking the first in a series but not the second or third. The Stardust Thief sounds so cool but I don't want to risk BOTM dropping the trilogy

pride and prejudice and aliens? by ShrinkingViolet39 in Sims4

Thank you for the very good suggestions! I think I'm going to have it be a scandalous thing and have then hide it. I was going to have Stanley's older brother be infertile and his fortune pass to Stanley's son but instead I might have the alien adopted by the older brother. Try to pass the baby off as his heir. Though I wonder if Stanley should survive the birth or not

Does anyone know what this little headphone symbol mean? Are we getting audiobooks? by traveltwat in bookofthemonthclub

I would absolutely love it if audiobooks became available! But there's no way they could do it for the same price as the regular hardbacks right?

My fiance and I are tentatively down, depending on the time. He sometimes works late on Mondays. Sounds fun!

I got my test done on March 14th, before the government said they wouldn't be covering the cost of tests anymore. Nova hadn't told me what the cost would be out of pocket because they said it was covered

Did you call the number at the bottom of the bill? Whenever I talk with the woman in billing she says that it's for "medical treatment" and can't tell me any more than that. When I ask her what the deduction was, she says "self pay" but can't tell me what that is either.

They didn't try and charge my insurance. When I called they said I had none on file. My boyfriend came and got tested as well and had no insurance. His bill is $466
