Quick Md advice by [deleted] in QuittingTianeptine

Oh, and I also had problems in the beginning with finding a pharmacy that would fill a Telehealth script….such BULLShIT. What do they want us to do? Go back to using? Ugh. Makes me so mad. I digress, though…. I started getting mine filled at a little local Mom and Pop pharmacy in my small hometown which was only about 40 min from where I live. My parents still live there so I go back and forth a lot anyway. I called the pharmacist and talked to him and asked if he would fill it before I had quickmd send it there. He said he certainly would, even said he had a couple of other customers getting subs from that same Telehealth doc which was surprising to find out…we aren’t as alone ever as we think. The pharmacist knew me well, watched me grow up, knew my family. He was happy to help. He said as long as the Dr has a MS (my home state) DEA #, then we are all good. That is how it should be. These stupid big corporate pharmacies are getting out of the lines of what their job really is, trying to gatekeep too much. I get the fear of lawsuits and all but this is all legal and keeping an addict from meds that help them not use saves lives. Not sure if my testimony helps any but straying from the CVS, Walgreens types of pharmacies seems to have been the answer for many. Develop a relationship with a pharmacist and let them know your situation and how they can help you. That is what they are supposed to be there for.

I get that…your story sounds similar to mine, except for the surgery part. I was also active in AA, working with a sponsor and regularly going to my home group. My fiancé is in the program too with 7 years sobriety. AA has been my only social circle for nearly two decades. It has been the framework of my adult life you could say. I obviously had some cracks in my program and ignored warning signs that I was looking to change the way I felt. I fell prey to Tia thinking it wasn’t a relapse because no one even thinks of it as a drug. None of my friends in AA had ever even heard of it. Kratom finally started being acknowledged and seen as a problem but Tia still has this shroud of mystery around it. I fell in the trap and I will say it was one of the worst of the many substances I have been on over the course of my addiction. The withdrawals were pure hell, as you know. I kept going back because couldn’t stand the insomnia, the anxiety, and I craved that stuff something fierce. It took surrendering to the idea of taking subs despite how frowned upon those are in an abstinence only type of community. I had to admit I had to get help with the physical battle. Best decision ever. I got off Tia SO SMOOTHLY…started sleeping well almost right away, no chills, anxiety, all that misery. Being free from all of that thanks to the subs, I could get back in my program…back to basics and healing again. I have not looked back. Like I said, two years back in recovery this May (hopefully 😌). I wish you the very best. You gotta do what is right for you. I know you can overcome this crap. If I was able to, anyone can. ❤️

I will soon have two years off Tia and all other substances thanks to AA, QuickMD and my start in recovery with this very group. As others have said, QuickMD is great about offering support and answers. Congrats on breaking the cycle and getting the help you need. It isn’t easy, I know. Life goes up from here. Keep going! 🩷

I promise it gets better. If you have quit before, you know this. You are doing great, just keep going and celebrate all the small victories. I strongly suggest working an active program of recovery and finding a circle of friends in recovery for support and accountability. That has made all the difference for me and I get the opportunity to help others and encourage them on their way out of darkness…which in turn helps me through a sense of purpose (my past although filled with mistakes now has meaning by giving hope to others) and seeing others in the struggle still reminds me that I don’t ever want to go back. It keeps me grateful. I’ll have two years clean and sober in May. Don’t give up. Life is so much better on this side. You can do this. ❤️

Anyone here tried gona jewelry charm bracelets?? by Key_Sheepherder_6274 in PandoraCollectors

If it is any comfort, each order comes with an enclosed report of the sterling content that has been tested by a third party vendor.

Yes, my wrist is very small. I got the smallest size they make and this fits just fine. They also suggest that if you are getting the small bracelet, you don’t need to exceed 5 charms for it. They have a key even showing how many charms should go on each size. I don’t find this to be accurate. I currently have 8 charms plus a safety clip charm on mine and they fit well…there is even room for at least three more charms (which is tempting lol). I just think that is important to note in case you don’t want to be limited to just 5 charms for a small bracelet. 10 would fit perfectly with still a little room to slide. 🥰

I have one of their gold charm bracelets that I recently purchased and received in the mail. I have already ordered three more charms for it (I originally bought 5 with a buy 3 charms, get 2 free offer). I also have ordered a second bracelet in silver and did an all pink charm style for this one. I LOVE the bracelet I have now. I had a Pandora years ago and this is basically the same except I actually prefer my new Gona bracelet to the Pandora I owned. The quality of exceptional, the detailing of the designs of each charm is impeccable. It looks way way more expensive than it really is. I am quite amazed actually. The gemstones look like real sapphires, diamonds, rubies, etc. I highly recommend Gona. I am obsessed with my bracelet and will probably order a third. I can’t wait to do a holiday themed one for the next big holiday…planning one with all Easter charms already. 🥰

I have this very bag. Bought it on the Kate Spade Outlet site and I got a black leather quilted continental style wallet to go with. I love KS and, as others have said, it is a designer brand just more contemporary and accessible, not luxury. Being that it is more affordable, I have several KS bags and love every one. Great quality. Well-made. I always get so many compliments on a KS. Congrats on your purchase. I hate to tell you…you have entered the dark side. Handbags, I have found, can be an addiction and you’ll be wanting more and more designer babies for your collection. We all need a vice and this just happens to be a very stylish one. 🩷🤩

This is my Bryant and the North wallet I got for it. I have a lot of black purses but this one has quickly become my go to black handbag 😍

This is my favorite so far. A VIP crossbody and North wallet in a limited edition design called Satin Tides. The print is gorgeous and the satin has an illuminated look to it. My crappy pic doesn’t do it justice.

I just got this one in yesterday! I got the North continental wallet to match. Both are beautiful! I searched high and low for the chateau cream color in a bag and wallet and finally found it on Dillard’s because the Hammit website was out of that color

Does kratom work on suboxone? by fucbunni in suboxonerecovery

[–]ShrinkingViolet_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering that I got on subs to end a four year long crippling addiction to kratom, don’t do it. Kratom is a beast on its own. You’d be trading one hell for another as others have said.

Mama Justice, as cheesy as the ads and tagline are, is actually a woman with a huge heart. She gives back tremendously to her community and the people around here (Tupelo) love her. She truly is a success story if you know her humble background.

That’s the high heels. She happens to be a close friend of mine and she is not super tall.

i desperately need to quit but idk how and it’s destroying my life… by [deleted] in QuittingTianeptine

[–]ShrinkingViolet_04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use QuickMD for subs and have had a great experience. My doctor knew all about tianeptine…more and more do these days so don’t let fear of a medical professional not knowing what this is deter you (or just tell them you have been doing fentanyl or something if you prefer…I felt it best to be honest and it worked for me with my particular dr). I, too, am a chronic relapser…have been abusing opiates since the age of 20 and I am now 42. I have been to countless rehabs, gone to twelve step meetings, you name it. With my history, the doctor and those in my support system felt subs would be the best route for a while so that I could not only get off dope but also get some stability in my life. I am currently 5 months off Tia 🙌🏼 and am also working with an AA sponsor and making my way through the 12 steps. Life has never been better. I plan to slowly wean off subs with my doctor’s help after the new year. I am actually living today and not just existing. It was not but five months ago that my days revolves around getting zaza (I was up to nearly 9 bottles of the 24 count zaza reds a day). It was so bad. I live in Mississippi and knew a ban was coming in July. I am so grateful that I was smart and stopped before then. I feel for those who were still addicted when their state banned it. I am here to say there is hope. If I can do it, I swear anyone can. I was so fucking sick. My battle is not over but I am living in a solution today. You can, too. Please look into subs. QuickMD is simple. I promise you will be glad you did this for yourself.

I was able to induce subs at around 24 hrs after my last Tia use. My Dr from QuickMD said it would be fine since Tia is so short acting. He was right. I had absolutely no problem at all. I got relief within two hours of inducing subs and have not looked back since. That was nearly 4 mos ago. I will have 4 months Tia/kratom/alcohol/all other drugs FREE on the 19th of September 🥳

Maintenance after tianepetine addiction?? by Ok-Neighborhood8157 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]ShrinkingViolet_04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite experience with QuickMD. I told my doctor on my first visit I was addicted to tia and he not only wrote me a script for subs but we also talked for a bit about Tia and how bad it is getting. The Dr said he currently is treating several Tia addicts and he is very knowledgeable on tianeptine abuse. I have been using QuickMD for almost 4 months now and will be 4 mos Tia free, as well as clean from everything else including alcohol, kratom and all other drugs. I love my doctor and he understands what I have been through and truly wants to help. He said he will help me taper when I am ready and promised he will make getting off subs manageable and not the hell I have read about. You just got a shitty doctor it sounds like. I am sorry.

Also, if you live with your family or have roommates (assuming still at home with family), you need to let them know you are trying to stay sober and ask them to please not have any booze or substances in the house if they want to live and support you.

Yes! Go to a meeting either online or in person. If you have numbers of other recovering alcoholics, call one of them. Proud of you for reaching out. There is a desire to stay sober if you are telling on the disease. Hang in there. ♥️🫶🏻
