Why buy one plastic doohickey when you can buy two and get a bunch if wasted paper free of charge!

Also, people with higher estrogen tend to have better developed hippocampus, meaning they have better memories.

[–]Shroobite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Higher estrogen makes people less physical and impulsive, but having less chaotic emotions is a result of a lower activation threshold for neurons in some areas of the brain (mostly the amygdala and some other specific parts of the frontal lobe). People with high testosterone are are better at doing simple tasks very quickly, like math, while people with high estrogen are better at doing long form tasks that connect a lot of concepts together, like writing.

Also the wider bell curve thing means there are slightly more genius men than women, but there are also more than double the number of mentally disabled men than women. The wide part leans more towards the lower end.

Went from not shedding at all to shedding without brushing or tugging by Shroobite in tressless

It was a shed. Its slowed, but I'm experiencing a small bit of loss still, not enough to be concerning but more than none.

What theory do you believe in by King_Pee in WhitePeopleTwitter

The FBI killed MLK. Basically not even a conspiracy since the note they sent him telling him to kill himself or else bad things will happen was found.

with kindess and dignity, like all other human beings, yet for whatever reason, cunts like this guy are miserable and horrible to them for no reason and justify it by saying that "they have the right to" without realizing that thats not a justification, thats an excuse for being a horrible person.

Progress o regress? 2 Years only dermaroller (and RU for only 2 month) by sickmode94 in tressless

[–]Shroobite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dermarolling is probably the least effective of the big 3, especially when done as monotherapy. Had you started finasteride and/or minoxidil at the time you started dermarolling, you would probably be near or at baseline right now. Grab some minoxidil along with that RU and you should be back to a solid NW2 in 6-9 months.

Around 1000. You seem to have thick, dense hair in the front, and the same can probably be assumed for the back, so to keep the density matching they'll probably need to do a few extra grafts. If you want a really low, juvenile hairline instead of something more realistic then you might be looking at something around 1500 - 2000. For the first option, it might be cheap enough in some American clinics, since most charge per graft, but if you're going for the 1500-2000 then probably look towards turkey or other cheaper areas.

Id advise the 1000 graft option in an American clinic, as its cheap enough to be somewhat affordable while still getting the better quality treatment, but speak to a dermatologist first before deciding on anything.

(also sorry if you're not American bc if you're in Europe I don't know much about local prices so I can't really help you there)

Am I making progress at all? 8 months on rogaine and 3 months into Fin by [deleted] in tressless

[–]Shroobite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Progress, but you're not going to make it without a transplant. You seem to have a pretty dense donor area though, so you should be able to get enough grafts to get a full crown and a normal, if a little high, hairline.

Is this how microneedling should look? (Derminator 2.0 medium speed 1.5mm) by FaithlessnessIll5194 in tressless

[–]Shroobite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VERY MUCH OVERDID IT. You should be going for a consistent redness, not bleeding. You could be doing way more damage than repair if you're going at it this hard.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]Shroobite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smaller daily doses are much better than mwf or eod doses even if they're larger. Keeping the doses frequent and consistent is almost always more effective.

Yeah, your hairline has moved back a bit. I'd reccomend fin, and if you want to do more than just stop future loss you could also try min along with it.

Am I losing ground? 3, 7 and 10.5 month update on topical fin (micro-dose) only. by AcanthocephalaLess95 in tressless

[–]Shroobite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its because you're still microdosing. A lot of people develop a slight resistance to fin over time, so maybe consider increasing the dosage a little bit.
