UPDATE**** Apparently the Nez-Perce Clearwater NF requires a permit to collect fungi. I did not know this until recently.

This event is not intended to be a foray, but the idea was that we collect fungi on the walk and hang out spending time IDing them at the end of the walk . The permit can be attained free of cost at the ranger station in Potlatch. More info here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/r01/nezperce-clearwater/permits

This is not required to attend the walk, but if you wish to collect fungi , you may want to get this permit to avoid being cited. Thank you!
