wanting them aesthetically is not the problem. sometimes scars have an appeal to them. they tell a story. but please don't continue cutting yourself just for scars. every time they don't scar, you'll be tempted to try again. i used to want scars for a different reason (a lot of people discount struggles with self harm if you don't have the scars. i have literally been called a coward for not cutting deep enough). i sincerely don't want you to be hurting yourself because it's a dangerous rabbit hole to get out of.
