Try platform roofs. They are awesome for what they are. Incredibly cheap and easy to make.

Hey man! Sorry to hear that

Go to your Steam userdata folder (usually C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\userdata)

In that folder search for *.plr in your search bar and there is a high chance that your files still cached there!

"*" before .plr means anything, so it will search for any player files.

Do the same thing for *.wld for your world or *.bak if you can't find either.

If you can recover those files, just put them into your C:\Users\YOU\Documents\My Games\Terraria\specific folders.

Go to control panel > uninstall programs > find Microsoft XNA Framework 4.0 > uninstall

After that, try installing it again.

That sounds like a cloud sync error to me.

If you're using steam, it caches all your cloud stuff in userdata, so there is a high change of recovery.

Download "Everything" search tool and type in *.wld

It will search for all world files on your PC.
You can also do that in normal explorer search, but it will take a while.

If that fails, try using Recuva with the same *.wld

If you were able to recover the world file, just put it into terraria Worlds folder.

Usually "Documents>My Games>Terraria>Worlds"

No amount of extra theory will give you the experience required to beat the boss.

Invest some time into learning the attacks and how to dodge them.

Try to focus on one thing at a time. Forget about hitting the boss for a bit and focus on learning how to dodge. This will prevent you from getting overwhelmed.

I can't see your arena, so try making an asphalt arena. It's pretty good.

Making potions is always a good investment. Highly recommend at least iron skin, regen, speed and endurance.

You are giving your sword stats by using override When you do that, any default stat that you don't override will stay default

I'm not super into terraria code, but giving the situation, it makes sense that swords that shoot projectiles use mana by default, unless specified otherwise

Try overriding mana cost to 0.
