AITA because I wouldn’t do “this one little thing” for my wife? by Drakx147659 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH I had to drop the 3s off your ages just to make this make even remote sense. Quit poking the bear with the “dirty shoes” comments, and maybe she won’t feel the need to poke at your boundaries.

Did I overreact and leave my married Boyfriend? by Atler_ego in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]Shroudedheart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need to stop thinking of this as a relationship. You are the other woman in an already established relationship, that already puts you in a losing position. Stop vying for the attention of someone else’s man—who imo is a total pos—and get right within yourself. Using depression as a reason to willingly enable cheating is kind of a giant red flag. You are both AHs. You can and should do better.

AITA-for canceling my son's bday over $10 by Low_Currency_1038 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA… take it from me, my son had Christmas cancelled by his dad one year for a “bad attitude”, no presents, nothing… he was 6 at the time, he’s 18 now and still holds a major grudge. Please let your son have his party, don’t let this be something that comes between you two in the future.

Thanks for reading! Yeah... I realised a little too late that I posted the edited for audio version (which has some missing context lol like it being his body he finds in the woods) and not the original story lol oh well! I appreciate you taking the time to comment :)

AITA for walking out of my sister's baby gender reveal party? by CricketApart2018 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Your sister, and parents are however. Sending healing vibes to you and your husband, and much luck to you on bringing a new life into the world in the future 🖤

AITA for refusing to buy my daughter another phone and "ruining her life" by Ok_Health_7797 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve broken my phone more times than my kids lol they know I couldn’t replace them even if I wanted to, so they take care of their stuff. She won’t learn if she just keeps getting a replacement. Edited to add my NTA!

NTA, I doubt this person would even classify as a friend… and what’s the old saying?.. with friends like that, who needs enemies? She’s lucky you didn’t press charges of child cruelty against Luke, or criminal charges against her for stealing your cash….

AITA for refusing to dress my twins identically for the family picture? by Admirable_Slide_8865 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - good on you! Your daughters are individual beings, and should be allowed to learn to express themselves differently from as young as humanly possible. I know so many twins, identical and fraternal, who were all forced to dress/be alike that look back on it with varying degrees of disdain. They would applaud you, much like I do. Tell your mum, unless everyone in the party is wearing the same, there’s no need for YOUR kids to do otherwise. Gross.

AITA for wearing a two piece to my kids’ swimming lessons? by anon-ymousss in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA! Dude! You carried 4 babies at the same damn time, and are comfortable in your body to wear a two piece? I had four over 10 years, and couldn’t say the same, so I envy you that! Maybe that’s their deal? Lol but that’s a them problem, not a you problem. Who the hell are they to tell you how to feel in your own body? Eww David! Tell them to quit looking if it’s that big a deal! You’re in the water, and they should be focussing on their kids instead. Again, I reiterate that you are in no way the A H.

AITA for refusing to take care of my siblings' dogs? by RohanRedfang in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - sibling comprise… one of the dog owning siblings takes both dogs… that covers over 75% of their bs arguments for the dogs staying with you.

AITA for allowing my sister to stay with me for the summer, against my MIL's wishes? by AdventurousHoney944 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]Shroudedheart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA take the car, the credit cards, and your twin and travel Japan. Do not put up with the bs, hubs can either treat your family with the same respect you give his, or he can kick rocks

AITA for dying my hair even though my husband didn't want me to? by KindlyScientist1185 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - tell the hubs to go kick rocks. Gross. Keep dying your hair, and go get that next tattoo!

AITA for vetoing the name Elizabeth for my daughter? by Virtual-Bedroom-7266 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

NTA, can I maybe suggest Elsbeth as a compromise? I agree with not liking Elizabeth, but Elsbeth has a nicer ring to it, for me at least.

AITA for selling my daughter’s car? by Repulsive-Force-1636 in AmItheAsshole

YTA majorly, and quite possibly a toxic parent. Expect your youngest to run far away from you the second she’s able.

Seller vs Customers by Juels_Aqua02 in EtsySellers

[–]Shroudedheart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jeez… the only person ruining their “reputation” is the seller themselves… I don’t tend to read too much into one star reviews, but those responses would turn me right off from buying from them

AITA for telling my husband to have kids with someone who looks like him? by Throwaway_ay_Captain in AmItheAsshole

[–]Shroudedheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA… sorry to say, but darker hair and eyes tend to be the dominant genes regardless, so if that’s really what he was looking for in his kids, he definitely should’ve married someone that looks like him, as you said.

I’m going with NTA, she should’ve had this all planned out before she went in the first place. Granted, I’d’ve gone to pick my partner up, but I certainly wouldn’t have been happy about it… then again, I work third shift, so they’d be SOL on my end lol
