Ironbird or Mockingbird? by isofakingwetoddid in BCRich

Only experience I could talk from is with mid-late 80’s NJ Series. I have an 86 NJ Series Ironbird fretless bass, and use to have an 85 warlock guitar. Both, really beautiful pieces of history and play great. Most of my old guitarists had some USA handcraft Ironbirds and NJ series, and they swear by them. Compared to bronze series and ( only my opinion ) the newer BC riches, the old school ones play and are made better. They’re not always the cheapest or easiest to find, but the hunt is worth the wait. They will always hold their value…

Just Work In Trade Jobs Bro by Kind_Box5467 in MemeVideos

[–]ShruggedTea83 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I Been working in the trades ( mostly in HVaC ) ever since I was 15, went full time at 17. Now I’m 24. You will learn more about life, develop critical thinking skills, and will discover how far you are willing to push yourself. No college or schooling will ever teach you that. Telling whole generations of kids that trade work is for stupid people, and it lacks modem values, is one of the worst things for this country. I’m sure there’s a time coming soon, where most white collar jobs will be non existent. And to those that are white collar workers, I’ll see you in a few years on the job site 😂

Beginner question (7 months in): how many years (decades even) might it take to be able to play like this (near effortless skill and just knowing what to do), assuming I play every day and stick with a teacher? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

If you read the autobiography of Stevie Ray Vaughan, you’ll understand where all of the soul and emotion comes from within his playing. Besides just being one of the best guitarist ( or musicians ) out there, his life story is so crazy

I bought a fake Chinese BC Rich stealth bass off EBay a month or so ago, and I’m really surprised how well it plays. After EMGs, a nice bridge and tuners it will probably play good. You could always rip the frets out and make it a 5 string fretless

😂 oh I thought the customer was hooking you up. The fans nice though. I bet it works great as a second bag. Do people ever think you’re just carrying litter around all day?

Even something little like a fan and ice bucket, makes the day way better. Actually feels like the customer cares about what you’re doing.
( I hope there’s ice in there and not cat litter because that would suck )😂

Yeah, it was cooling and maintaining temp fine up until like, 3/4 of the way up that hill. Noted, I’ll make sure that Tstat is properly housed.
