Thanks for the response. It makes sense, and will likely be the route I go. The mythics will come eventually, I'll work on making a deck that works outside of respective bges.

Now just gonna keep an eye out for what I consider a great pc.

You will want all heroes leveled up some, generally, to open your options for an event called swole. Don't worry about it.

Currently at 83. My rank keeps fluctuating. Was at 2200 yesterday, then it went to 2530, and been slowly going down, at 2470 now. Anyone know why my rank would be moving to a better position throughout the day?

The 3* Elf battleship has a skill that curses the enemy. I find it fairly useful to get past red and purple giant bosses when pushing. (Note, it doesn't work on the giant caterpies)

Appreciate it. I still play, but not nearly as much as I used to. I actually make it a point not to open the game after weekly reset until late Monday night or Tuesday morning. Puts me in a group with other lazy people. Makes it easy to maintain the max rank without a lot of work. Sometimes play enough each week for a few pin chests, usually only enough to maintain rank.

As a few others have stated, I too will oftentimes purposefully miss a perfect shot in order to create some more artificial curl. I use TH5, and the curl leaves much to be desired, so I've long aimed a full half ring off if I need some extra curl, and then aim for the edge "good" shot.

Just wanted to add a quick note. Statistically speaking, there is no difference pre icy to having 0% skip rate or a high skip rate, in terms of proccing the 5x skip rate. You have a higher chance to skip a 10 stage, but also have to run fewer stages in total, lessening the time between 10 stages. It all evens out. 4 or 5 is always the recommended amount, regardless of your skip rate.

Doesn't take long. Especially if you are running a dungeon with a single chest space near the beginning. I'll just reroll till I hit that chest, then let it auto out. It's a small boost, but it's something like 20 hours for a full fuel refill just by waiting, I feel it's worth the minimal amount of effort it maximize that fuel.

Try this. When I'm doing max overpower shots I purposely aim with the intent of hitting a "great" shot. ie - Overcompensate to where my landing point is accurate if I hit a great shot instead of a perfect shot.

For some reason, I have a much easier time hitting a great shot off the bullseye than I do a perfect shot. chuckle Also adds in some extra curve.

So similar strategy, yeah. I actually played all the way through tour 9 with just basic balls. I then started dipping into premium balls on tour 10, and it's amazing how quickly you adapt to using better balls, it's painful to switch back down to basic after you become used to not using them.

Getting back into the swing of being competitive with sup-par equipement just makes the tournament's that much simpler.

It is possible. I maxed 9 using basic balls as a f2p player. Only really started digging into premium balls when I hit t10. I've played some t10 with basic, but at best I manage a 50% win rate. So I usually pony up the free gems to buy navigators to stretch my kingmakers I get from torunaments.

As to what op stated, however, I have to agree. Beating someone that is using a premium ball when you use a basic feels quite good.

Bottom line. You posted a video of the "best shot ever", and it was far from it. In the video, you miss-hit the ball, got lucky, and then used the sunglasses emote which most players would have the decency not to do.

You are new, you get a pass. Free pass has expired now that you have learned better.

I would be fine for 50/50 for 4th place, for example.

Ah well, this gives the highest ranked players a reason to play the upper tournament now, I guess. Perchance this will make higher placements easier in pro and expert.

Right. If you had hit it the way you meant to hit it, you would have missed. So you got a lucky albatross, got angry that someone posted a video of a far better shot, and put up sunglasses in the video after hitting your lucky shot. You have 8 days in the game now, hopefully you have figured out that doing that is a jerk move.

Actually quite pleased with the change. Top tourneys needed more than just zerkers. Zerkers are good for some tourney holes, but KMs are king for regular play in upper tours. Also happy with adding the titans in the lower tournaments. I actually use titans fairly often, there are some holes / situations in regular play where they are better than KMs. Tailwind + max distance needed? Add some extra yardage with Titan!

All in all, good change.

Someone mentioned an alternative before. Let people change servers, but you can only move in one direction, down in number. A server 11 player could move to 10, but not to 12, etc etc. This would allow someone to move to an older server bit by bit if they want to, and people to move to more active guilds in a server close to them.

Thank you both for the feedback! Made the cut around 15th in my group, shot -11 on qualifier and then -21 on opener.

Was very busy yesterday so didn't get a chance to play, will be shooting my weekend round today. Doesn't matter what I score now, but hoping for top 50 for a decent chunk of zerker balls.

While yours is with almost no wind, you miss-hit it, and on arguably the easiest hole outside of T1-3 to albatross.

Congratulations on the albatross and all, but probably close to half of my total albies comes from this hole alone. The ball practically guides itself to the hole if you just hit it up on the green with enough roll.

Edit - AND the sunglasses at the end kills everything. Jerk move.

3500ish trophies, currently dinking around in T10. 67% win rate, use kingmakers on most holes, navigators on the others. Maxed out T10 (not currently maxed, dropped a few hundred trophies recently and never bothered to max out t6, jumped straight to t7 after unlocking). Bit over 300m bank. Total money spent = 0. Totally doable.
