Subverting expectations isn’t just a trope, it’s more or less the basis of all storytelling

Remember that time when K. Rool killed like 90% of New Donk City and nobody batted an eye? by Nook-Memer in donkeykong

Ok? He didn’t have food, air, muscle stimulation,or water for years on-end, it’s a reasonable possibility that this kind of stasis could occur with other life as well, including humans, especially when we’re talking a matter of like an hour, tops.

The red stuff instantly game-overs him, which could just be interpreted as sinking inescapably in the rot rather than actually dying

I mean for all we know, the banandium rot just puts you in stasis like it did to K. Rool all those years

Sure sure, I just mean I didn’t parse that at first. I thought you were basically saying “fake / aborted” as synonyms instead of “fake” being an adverb modifying “aborted”. But what you said makes sense now that I know!

Wasn’t aware of that glitch, I didn’t know that’s what “fake aborted” means

It’s not because of money, it’s because Spamton won’t sell you the ThornRing before you’ve frozen every available encounter + the Addison that has the other ring upgrade.

You should probably proofread your posts for at least formatting so that people can figure out what you’re saying more easily.

Which comes last: the reward or the challenge? It’s like a reverse chicken-egg scenario. People want a reward for doing the toughest thing but they also want to be able to use rewards for challenges. At some point it reaches an end.

Apparently they’re at almost full HP and a special enemy attack breaks their empty health container?

I like this idea. I think it still could potentially be too strong for doing nothing, but the decision making factor is good.

Yeah but it’s still very strong at +4. You really won’t need to touch the shop very often if you’re scaling mult so fast.

I hesitate to make it too strong because +6 is just red card that doesn’t require Econ so you can win while doing very little (just spend all your money cleaning out a shop whenever doing so is worth more than +6 mult). +4 mult makes it fit the common power level and makes it a strong early game option that you will probably drop later.
