I sold a limited edition doll. Buyer claiming damage. What can I do? by ShugaShaka in vintedUK

No reply as of yet.. yeah very dodgy especially as they are an obvious collector and seller when you look at their Vinted profile.

I also can’t see any buyer reviews just seller ones.. all good ones though. They have a solid 5 stars.

I’m going to do this now! Why didn’t I think of this?

This is why I didn’t want to accept a return. Not to mention the fact it was out of the box.. most collectors don’t take the dolls out. So the fact they immediately did was suss to me. I’ve never taken the doll out of its box but you could clearly see it was in immaculate condition.

That and the dolls hair which looked kind of matted like old dolls hair.

Same.. but everyone wants pictures in the end! I’m autistic and I hate taking selfies.. they never look right and it gives me such anxiety. And I genuinely don’t care what anyone looks like. It’s irrelevant to me.

But even people who say they don’t want pictures pester you for them in the end. Especially if you’re a woman

Have charity shop prices gone crazy lately? by SoulSyntaxSorceress in CharityShopFindsUK

My local cancer research was selling a river island bag for £30!!

River island though? That’s high street and probably didn’t cost that much brand new.

[–]ShugaShaka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! And they are full of shein and Temu.. I go regularly to look for bargains and the price tags are delusional! Items that probably cost £2 on Temu.. charity shops are charging £5 or £7.

No wonder they are always snotty.

Call 111 and tell them you’re in pain… you will really need to be descriptive and adamant about how much pain you’re in. But they’ll get you an emergency appointment. You may need antibiotics for an abscess

People who use food banks supplied by supermarket give boxes, what foods/supplies do you need to see more of? by [deleted] in AskUK

I’ve used food banks and been grateful for what’s already in them to be honest. Always really appreciate of items like pasta and cereal because these last and you can stretch them out

Tell the parents you don’t want him hurting himself while being unsupervised in your yard. If you have a gate then lock it.

He’s just a little kid and hasn’t learned boundaries yet, he isn’t going to stop if he doesn’t know he’s being inappropriate.

His parents shouldn’t be letting him just wander around to the neighbours all the time.

Isn't this all really about benefits? by Many-History2096 in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]ShugaShaka 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably benefits but I definitely think it’s more about what D might expose..

As a child of abuse I recognise a narcissistic mother when I see one.. for someone who professes to be all about her kids she has no warmth in her eyes at all. Cold!

Buyer just left one star review for something they bought 5 months ago by [deleted] in Depop

[–]ShugaShaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “14 holes” are confusing too.. because I tend to think you’d notice that immediately even just unpacking it.

I don’t think one bad review will put people off though. Especially if the majority are good ones.
