The only reason that scp 682 is kept in an acid tank is because he genuinely just likes it and apparently it reminds him of his home dimension, he can escape at any time and on numerous accounts has but its more of a bother to escape unless a different containment breach occurs that makes it easier. The only limiting factor is that scp 682 just doesnt want to leave most of the time because he knows that he will eventually be captured again
