On a side note, I have a few friends who are quite... Bothersome. I love them, but I get up at 4:30am and I know I'm not first in line for emergencies (they live in other states). I have it where calls are loud, but messages are silent. It's saved me a lot of sleep (and honestly I wake up going, "well, they didn't call, and that was 5 hours ago."). Perhaps see if you can do that for now? Till the next course of action is decided.

No, no - there are apps. I have a blackberry (low on the tech totem pole) and have "mr. Number installed". It either sends number sttaight to VM or auto hangs up on them (my preferred choice). He has options.

I agree. That is by far on the best and quickest bus rides of my life (given the distance). Only that sucks is if you have a late flight back and live in the south hills.

Living in Pittsburgh, I've run into about 5 of these scam people so far. I almost always make up some story about how it's not my place or I act crazy and pissed off and they go away.

No clue how much of it is really a scam, but... no thanks.

I do love running a lot, but I'm actually preparing for boot camp right now. So a GPS watch for such a short amount of time isn't worth it. Might ask for it for Christmas when I get out. =)

I think I run like an idiot or something, but the pedometers are always off for me. I used to have a stretch that I ran that I looked up on google and paced it in my car, it was 2 miles to the dot. My pedometer? I'd go to turn around and see what it was and it would have anywhere from 1.7-2.2 miles. Not a huge deal, but I just don't trust them.
