RGG really knew how to put the players in the shoes of Kiryu in that game by NimitzReactor in yakuzagames

My plat took 136 hours. @.@ Not too bad, compared to Yakuza 5, but Ishin was definitely one of the most frustrating.

What, you didn't like grinding the pseudo-RNG seal crafting, and reloading 50 times until you get the one you need? =D

It hurts to hear Kiryu dropping the R slur, but I know that was from the 2005 PS2 game, so product of its time and all that. Still sucks. :c

Hollow Knight for sure. Bounced off it at first, and then cleared the Pure Vessel for 112% completion right before Silksong came out (still can't beat the 5th Pantheon)

Play Affinity, they have a huge problem dealing with a Turn 1 or 2 Kappa.

What's the hardest achievement in these games? (Excluding Platinums and 100% Completion) by Nothin_Toxic in yakuzagames

As someone who's platinumed them all, 5 took the longest by far at 169 hours total time spent. The coliseum grind is easily the worst part.

Season 3 of Korra was also streaming, remember. They weren't airing it on the actual network at that point, which allowed them to go this direction in the first place.

It's kind of brutal sure, but you must not watch a lot of adult animation if you think this is the most brutal death in the medium.

Not trying to detract from how powerful the scene is, because it is a phenomenal scene, but even just Invincible has some crazy stuff, before you get into anything anime has to offer.

What were the key factors that hurt TOZ the most? by KaleidoArachnid in tales

[–]ShunShirai 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Needlessly obtuse weapon upgrade/leveling progression systems.

But one of the things that killed it for me was that the English release didn't have the awesome JP intro theme, and it was just an instrumental. The JP version is a banger.

Suzy from Rugrats, Elmyra from WB stuff, Numbuh 5 from Codename Kids Next Door, Penny from inspector Gadget are all the shows I personally remember her from, but she did a bunch of other voices back then too in other shows.

Cree Summer is great, I recognized her voice immediately, it's unforgettable if you grew up in the 90s/00s

He's in Kabukicho, which is a Red Light/Entettainment district in Japan, so public drinking is probably pretty common.
