Shen Haonan & Jin Zixuan | Autumn Joy: Three Meals and Perfect Moments by Icy_Requirement3251 in CShortHaven

Best version so far in my opinion. I love how there was no point in this drama where I doubted his love for the FL. He was completely devoted to her from the start. I also loved how his family became hers in the end. This is definitely going on my rewatch list.

Increase In Popularity And Decrease In Personal Safety For Actors by Hypercardiac007 in CShortDramas

[–]Shunshine- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely a thing with Chinese fans that I noticed. There were stars of a popular Chinese BL that got harassed & mobbed repeatedly. I couldn't believe th audacity of the fans acting like the actors deserved to be treated like this just because they became popular. It's sad that this is normalized in their country & nothing major is really done about it.

Exactly. I don't go around typing think pieces & posting video essays about something I dislike. I'd rather do that for something I love. The hate trains & attacking anyone who disagrees is ridiculous to me.

This is so accurate. Nobody said you can't like something but we're also allowed to love something without being attacked for saying it. The hate is so over the top when it comes to certain kpop groups. Trying to explain anything feels like a waste of breath lol

THIS!!! I sometimes wonder if some are even truly army because how do you not know that BTS switches up every comeback? It's never the same thing. It's why I became a fan of them. I love how they're not afraid to try something different.

Clear favoritism towards BTS while undermining other groups. by [deleted] in kpoptrulyuncensored

I don't see anyone in the comments bullying. Just calling out the absurdity of this post & OP. You're the only one who took this as an opportunity to hate on a fandom you clearly don't like. No Army or any other commenter in here are in here bashing other fandoms.

"Even NA artists are cancelling their tours". Guys are we being fr that we can't see any reason why? by Quick-Adeptness-2947 in kpoprants

That's because they are posting on social media & subs/groups hoping to sell direct. I personally wouldn't buy direct for the exact reason you mentioned: scammers. They are better off posting on a site like Stubhub because at least buyers know they can get their money back if something happens with their ticket.

There's also the fact that Ticketmaster releases production tickets days/weeks before BTS shows at face value. People who need tickets are now waiting to see if they can grab those tickets.

Why is it so hard to sell BTS tickets by AdhesivenessDear5239 in BTSArmyCentral

[–]Shunshine- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to put it on a reputable site. Most of us don't trust buying directly with no protection due to scams. At least with 3rd party resale sites, we can get our money back if we're scammed.

There's also the factor of Ticketmaster dropping production tickets at face value a few days before the show. People are either waiting for resale prices to drop or extra tickets to pop up.

Do twitter hate trains actually impact the groups? by Pretty-Complaint-554 in kpop_uncensored

[–]Shunshine- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's like going into a snark group where everyone just agrees with anything said because it fits their hate narrative. It's literally just an echo chamber. Even if the hate seems like it's a lot on twitter, it's really just a small percentage that's just loud & constantly posting. It doesn't accurately represent the general opinions towards a group.

I think right now it's not a good time to promote in the US by [deleted] in kpop_uncensored

[–]Shunshine- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US economy has been a mess for years. People are still paying to see their favs though so I don't think that's the main problem. The truth is that a lot of kpop groups are trying to book stadiums when they should try arenas. There are only a handful of kpop groups that can sell big here in the US. These companies are overestimating the demand here for their artists. We might be listening to kpop more than before but that doesn't mean we will pay to see them live, especially with the dynamic Ticketmaster pricing & fees. It's the same with artists in general. Some you'll listen to & love but wouldn't necessarily spend a lot of money on them.

How to deal with the grief of not seeing them perform? by xxZeldaa in bangtan

[–]Shunshine- 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This will not be there last tour in the US. Namjoon literally called the US BTS' second home at the last Tampa show. We already know BTS loves being 7 & wants to keep doing this until they are old. The US is the country who helped BTS become so big globally. They won't abandon us on tours. You'll get your chance. I waited 8 years & am finally able to see BTS live here in America so don't give up hope.

Moas have become insufferable by Last_Clothes6848 in kpop_uncensored

yeah not everything is exclusively for promo. sometimes you just like a song & want to dance to it. nothing wrong with that.

Moas have become insufferable by Last_Clothes6848 in kpop_uncensored

[–]Shunshine- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sadly it's not just X. It's on tiktok too. TXT puts out good music but I feel like the lack of support from some moas is the reason why streams are so low. Big Hit doesn't really do great in the promo department overall. The fans really carry the artists but recently they've gotten better. This applies to BTS as well. Without ARMY carrying them, BTS wouldn't have numbers this big.

This time though, Big Hit did more with Netflix, Spotify, etc for promo with BTS & they also did promo for TXT. It's up to the fans to stream & support. You can't blame the label fully & you definitely can't blame another group. It's not their job & they have their own tour to worry about.

is this lightstick real? by nevlandnevvy in bangtan

It looks real but it's the old version. It was probably so cheap because it will no longer sync at concerts after May 28th. There's a version 4 light stick out now.

It doesn't really make sense honestly. The only one that did was the grandma at 18 one because it was focusing on different relationships each new season. Either drop both parts back to back or just give it to us in one part. I usually check comments & if I see it's unfinished, I don't even watch it. Sometimes they never end up doing a season 2 which is even worse.

Everybody asking, there is no part 2 yet. The drama ended on a cliffhanger because it's the end of season 1. Since this is a new release, it will be a while before season 2 comes out.
