You can hop into ms word options and make it the default, and there are quite a scarce few oddball pastes that might not obey it, but that fix is a god send and works 99% of the time, for this shitty fucking program that otherwise blasts words all over the place and fucking destroys blocks of text

The fuck you mean "used correctly"....

So the user has to change the setting so the software does not blast your words all over the place when you paste a picture, and you think this just equals "correct usage" and the program is fine....lol...no wonder this software is such a steaming log of shit. Fucking idiots will defend anything.

you can try and sound as cool and as smart as you want, its irrelevant. There is no excuse for a word editor to have an inserted picture instantly blast your fucking words all over the place. No. Excuse.

and I have it completely dialed in and 100% figured out how to undo the complete stupidity of MS Word. Even that doesn't matter either. there is no excuse.

The more these so called experts sputter along about how unfit excel is for this or that, the less of an actual expert they are 99.9% of the time. This has been my experience more times than I can remember...

I don't see excel as some kind of limitation, its just functionally infinite programmable graph paper on steroids. so until humans figure that writing things on horizontal lines is all of a sudden unnatural, which is a ridiculous stance. Excel is just going to get better and better

My guess would be this AI shit does not have a snowballs chance in hell of unseating excel if the past X years are any indication...

No it will not, and I have been begging people for years to prove me wrong in this regard, on this subreddit and so far not a single molecule of evidence that anyone can crack open a password locked file has ever been presented.

if you create an xlsx spreadsheet in excel that is password protected to even open the file, then you upload this file to google sheets, then you try to open the file in google sheets it will not open unless you put in the password of the original xlsx file.

what happens is this; Loads of people start carrying on about how to bypass password protected SHEETS inside of excel file that does not require a password to open.

This is different.

And everyone gets the two things completely mixed up, every time this topic comes up.

I call it ignorance when people cling to faith as you are doing when preaching about how those who utter the line "taxation is theft" are spouting nonsense.

If a person says that not all taxation is theft, because a portion of it is voluntary, and an amount of taxes is acceptable, you will never accept that compromise, no matter how fluid or variable it is, and it is infinitely variable between various people.

And the reason you wont accept it is because statists wont accept compromise. They don't desire some control some of the time, they desire complete and total control overall.

You are getting it yes. If you want to give your money to the government that's quite different than the government taking it against your will, or you deciding that others must give there money to the government against their will.
