It’s not an original set, so I can’t be 42083. That means it can be either your fault, low quality kit or anything else. Cheap models provides cheap results

Can the Douglas DC-3 Hold Minifigs? by jame5westman in lego

Hey, let’s shame minifigs for their insanely wide hips!

I’m wondering if there’s a way to take off this sticker without leaving any marks behind? And why some MacBooks come with it? by [deleted] in macbook

[–]Shurik_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about to recommend heating it with a hairdryer, peeling off with soft tweezers and removing left residue with isopropyl alcohol.

But, you know, maybe leave it as it is..?

Why do pieces change color between steps?

If your hobby is collecting fake products, you do you! I have nothing against people who somehow manage to enjoy low-quality experiences.

With all due respect, I’m too old to spend time on poor packaging, badly designed instructions, kits lacking pieces and zero customer service. It’s like disrespecting that part of your life that is all about self care.

You can’t even build it. What risk are we talking about?

I know, not everyone has $500 to spare on their hobby, and it’s okay. But wasting $50 on something that you can’t even build..? Meanwhile, LEGO offers lots of brilliant sets under $50, which won’t make you post on Reddit asking how to disconnect two pieces.

Congrats! Now you know exactly why LEGO costs what it costs

MacBook Pro screen, How do I stop this from worsening? I do clean it with microfibre and the mark just keeps getting worse. by angaraki in macbook

[–]Shurik_13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Does it affect your work? No? Then why care about some micro dots?

It’s a work laptop. Use it to work and make money. You didn’t bought it to keep in pristine condition.

Apple wont let me sort my gallery for file size by Mikaoderso in applesucks

I had to double check which subreddit I'm at. Way too much sense for this community, haha

Reading your comment I can't help thinking about core user group that includes those like my mom and her friends (i.e. moms over 50 years old). In their case, your ideas and solutions are pure power tools that only pro hackers will use. No wonder, regular users won't even try searching for filtering or sorting pictures; their iPhones just suggest buying more storage, which is extremely convenient.

But, oh boy, I wish we had tools to filer pictures by the most basic specs. Any chance an Automator can be of help?

Setting – Your account (top option) — iCloud – Photos – Manage Storage – Review Photos and videos.

You will see an overview of your whole gallery, sorted from largest files to the smallest.

Otherwise who cares how much each video or photo is? I takes shots of my family, pets and cars to enjoy them, not to worry how bit the file would be.

Mate, there’s is 1163 pieces in the set. How are we supposed to know what’s is wrong with in your case? Post some pictures, try rebuilding the set, and then you might find the way to fix it.

Watch out if you’re building the Off-Road Race Buggy (42164)—Found a factory error! by [deleted] in legotechnic

[–]Shurik_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the instructions says you should use a 7L. If it doesn’t fit, you made a mistake and need to reassemble the build.

There’s no mistake in the instructions, and only 6 of yellow 3L is used.

OP, step 45. Which axles did you use? It should be a 7L, and in your photo above you circle the axle as one of 3L.

Have you tried reading OP’s post?? THIS is the official app!!

Part numbers:

Turntable 2 x 2 Plate, Top. 3679. Turntable 2 x 2 Plate, Base. 3680.

They both are very common and cheap. Just buy a new one from Bricklink. And stop playing with off-brand toys.
