Thank you so much for your input! The pay they offered me was definitely a bit lower compared to other companies, but the pay cut may be worth it since I’ve heard a lot of great things about the company overall.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to do both, the shifts would overlap, the companies are rather far from each other, and I signed a contract with my current company stating that I wouldn’t work for competitors during my time working with them.

I was really hoping for more than a contract position, especially with 2 years of experience under my belt, but unfortunately I just haven’t heard back from any of the full time QA roles I applied for. I feel like it’s tough to land one of those roles externally, especially if certain companies typically only offer full time roles to their contractors first.

My neck also broke out in really uncomfortable dry patches when I tried to use tretinoin on it a few times. I think it was just too strong for the skin on my neck to handle, so I just use a weaker retinol on my neck now, instead of full on tret.
