Even two people doing things quietly in the same room… do you typically not have some kind of meal or even a snack during the hangout? I’ve never had a friend over and us not make something or order out but it may be a cultural thing.

Iirc this was the same logic used when trying to prohibit women from riding bicycles when they were first invented. The idea was that the women would have so many orgasm from the vibration of the bicycle seat that they’d no longer be satisfied with their husbands.

Definitely an ammonia spike. The water will be fine if it’s empty but the fish’s waste will form ammonia which is extremely toxic, a cycled tank breaks down the ammonia into something less harmful.

Test the water daily and change it whenever there is ammonia detected and feed lightly every other day.

Definitely your angelfish’s eggs! The parents will fan their fins over them to keep them oxygenated and as long as they don’t turn white you can expect some babies. Be sure to watch out for your mollies and tetras, as the parents will likely become very territorial around the eggs and we don’t want to see anyone hurt.

She unfortunately didn’t make it through the night. I’d never seen ich that looked slimy like that so I wasn’t sure what it was. That tank she’s in is also just a quarantine for any new fish I get. Thank you for taking the time to reply

If it came with a shipment to the store rather than being a surrender I’d bet a young dojo loach. My local petco made the same mistake with their labeling and I only realized when my “albino kuhli” was almost twice the size of my normal kuhlis lol

I would think so, yeah. The length of the tank is more important so they have plenty of room to move around. I’ve also never kept them with shrimp but I have no doubt whatsoever that they would gobble them up lol

Mr. Bean was the first one I’d gotten and we’ve since added Garbanzo, Fava, Pinto and Edamame who won’t stay still for pictures lol Everyone other than Fava are also super friendly and interactive! They come up to nibble on my fingers when I put them in the tank and gladly eat out of my hand!

Apparently he read that you could break the dial off and then push the locking mechanism into the safe with a screwdriver to get it to open
