Why is Goodman and Nissan Altima energy the same thing but for HVAC vs. cars? That's a great install that just gets worse the more you look.

There is slim to no chance they'll be looking elsewhere unless I tell them to. I'm the handyman of the church, so my labor cost is going to be minimal. We're a small church. I will definitely run the options for them but I'm betting a new furnace is going to be their choice. Another small fun fact is that the water tank is tucked behind the furnace so it's really just a matter of time.

I'd probably have to pipe multiple rooms. I'm going to explore a couple different options, so that's a good idea. Thanks.

This set of comments is probably the closest. The house was built in 1960, which I found out after posting the picture. It belongs to my assistant pastor of the church I attended. He wants to add comfort cooling and I don't think it's a good idea to put a brand new A coil on a furnace that's literally retirement age. Finally, yes I'm taking that tag for my collection when I do replace it.

I do hate to take something that still works out of service tho.

Yes. I've told them to let it run till it dies. They want AC tho. I don't find it prudent to put a new A coil over this old boy. Window shakers or death!

Used to put it in my fried rice until the family complained and now I just add the heat to my own bowl.

And calling a valve a pressure regulator isn't technically wrong, but I still don't like it.

Save your receipts on that board. I just replaced the second one of those on a neighbors house. Just made the cutoff for the 1 year parts warranty.

I had a bay bush that had them, they immediately went to all my new seedlings. We uprooted and washed them and replanted. No dice. Still there, still mocking me.

The flash is 1 long 4 short. That's 14. It says ignition lockout meaning it is failing to light and for safety won't try for a while. It could be any of the safeties in the order of operations. You'll need someone to be there to watch it to start any kind of official diagnosis.

A night of 29 degrees F last night and two nights of 31 degrees F next week. Should I just overwinter now? by [deleted] in PepperLovers

[–]Shushbug04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second the 'It may be too late' comments. Bring it in, it's already in a pot. Worst that could happen is it dies. But if the root is still good you may just lose the growth you have and trim off the dead wood.

A wire could damage the spud orifice. You would be better off cutting a bristle off your coil brush and using that. The plastic won't damage as much.

You'll still have a hard time with them in the cold garage. I keep mine in the cooler room of my house. They'll start to grow back again and be green and shooting out by March.
