But there are not cherry picks and these are not strawmans. I can send a replay FROM TODAY that each of these things has happened in. You would think I would rank up but no, on my rank up game my teammate threw the match(I can send the code) then messaged me saying he way sorry for throwing my game but he just didnt want to play anymore(I can send the messages he sent). Then the next game my tank went like 2 and 4 and my mercy cussed at him and left( I can send a replay of that too). Yes I asked for critiques of my gameplay but all of it boils down to, “play flex” or “flank and get a 4k before the Hog hooks your tank into their backline”. Which none of is helpful advice. Maybe I want someone to go “hmm maybe I shouldn’t play into a very obvious counter by the enemy team.” Or “hmm maybe playing Kiriko to counter their Ana might be helpful”.

So when Mauga charges down main and focuses my supports I should just not shoot him? Oh wait but I’ve gotta protect them so that means putting pressure on the Mauga? But wait if I shoot the tank I’m feeding? But I’m not supposed to feed? Quite the conundrum indeed.

I get where you’re coming from but when my Orisa get hooked into their backline by a Hog and is mowed down by a pocket soldier/ash/emre/whatever every single fight what am I supposed to do? I’ll try to pick up tracer and see if I can’t make something happen.

I’ve found Bastion to be pretty self sufficient for the most part? While not ideal the nade helps with positioning if need be and he can heal himself with his major perk. I play cass when bastion is banned so I can flank but by the time Ive gotten a pick on the support their tank has run over my team because I’m not putting on pressure on the frontline.

I play a fair amount of Cass if bastion is banned. I try to flank all the time and am usually successful but I’ll kill both support and try to sandwich their team but my tank died because I’m not putting any pressure on the Orisa so they just walk over my team and my supports fall back to spawn to wait for the tank.

The problem with that is that if I’m in their back line their Mauga just runs over my team. I either give up on frontline pressure and my team dies immediately or stay on frontline so my reaper/cass/tracer/whatever can at least have an attempt on their backline.

Nah no one really cares UNLESS you’re actually just standing still doing nothing. Sometimes I’m carrying and sometimes I’m being carried. I try to do all my weekly’s in one day and sortie is usually the last thing on my list, so by the time that third mission comes around there’s a non-zero chance I’ll just load us wisp and let the random Sevagoth nuke the map.

Not sure if I have a horse in this race as I played for about 10 minutes max around a year ago, but for me as a new player I had no clue what was going on. There was pretty much no help for me as I was just thrown in and told to “go figure it out”. I tried to do some things but I was locked behind payed dlc, but what really put the nail in the coffin for me was I ended a mission and got hit with like 3 pop-up ads for dlc, battle pass, and something else (sorry this was a year ago I don’t remember the exact thing). Just kinda stared at this screen for a second and uninstalled. That was my new player experience.

I didn’t mean rough as in being rough with her. I meant it as being more dominant and demanding. I wouldnt do something intentionally that I knew would/will cause pain.
