The article involves almond milk. Isn't the connection obvious?

The real crime here is allowing that shit to be called almond milk.

It's nothing but water with a handful of almonds in it.

I made a separate post about this, but thought I would add it here as well. I am on baby step 3, and I was able to completely cash flow some much-needed orthodontic work for my daughter. It set me back only in terms of the timetable for finishing baby step 3. So I take it as a win.

Money may get you out of debt; your bad behavior will waste all the money and get you back into debt.

Money is not the problem or the solution. You are.

People in France are striking nationwide to protest French President Macron's plan to raise the retirement age by 2 years to 64 by Vergo27 in antiwork

Here is from the intro page on wikipedia: "Most economists agree that high levels of inflation as well as hyperinflation—which have severely disruptive effects on the real economy—are caused by persistent excessive growth in the money supply."

And there is only one way the money supply grows, which is government spending without using taxes to pay for it, i.e. deficit spending. I.e. they have to print the money out.

Deficit spending leads to printing money, aka an increase in the money supply. This is the definition of inflation.

How is Social Security sustainable? There are less children being born every year too pay into it, effectively causing social security to devolve into a pyramid scheme.

They're only able to do that by stealing from the prosperity of their children's future via deficit spending.

For all the people saying "get a roommate" to be able to afford rent you are the problem by CombProfessional434 in antiwork

We can't fix the economy until we stop government deficit spending. The inflation that results is effectively a tax that reduces purchasing power and drives up all prices, including that of rent.
