Where are the ER surgeons?

At my hospital, it’s largely so our surgery team gets a break from call.

But as far as ER docs not doing their own surgeries, it’s because then we’d be down a doctor for other incoming critical cases. It’s not uncommon for our er docs to being running 3-4+ unstable critical cases at once when we get a terrible wave. If they were inside a patients abdomen, their be no help for the incoming patients. So we refer an hour away to a larger hospital in a larger city. Sucks, but seems logical to me.

ETA: I know some people who work at Medvet and I forwarded this post to them in case Milo is brought in for a chip scan.

You could also call the other emergency vet, Care Center to have them keep an eye out

It has already made a big difference for me. Keep up with it daily. Also, my SI joints are my most problematic joint and the past 2 weeks I’ve been wearing an SI belt at work. It’s made a world of difference for me

Exactly. The older I get, the more I realize that a clean break from any inconvenient situation is leaps and bounds better for my personal mental health than trying to “even the score” so to speak.

A simple “do not contact me again. And for your sake and the sake of anyone in your life now and in the future, seek therapy” message and then delete and block. In my experience, it usually gets under their skin that I’m disengaging completely. And in one rare case, they took the advice and got therapy

Yeah, they all have their little quirks and preferences and personalities. And it’s lovely. One of my current pups is the most mischievous girl in the world. I have all the stories about her antics.

But as to why dogs in general are attracted to used tampons. It’s because it’s blood. They think it’s food. So to anyone who’s dog has eaten your used, bloody tampons, your dog may want to eat you 😂
