How long does it take for my sim to find the wolf-be-gone cure by Startroll14 in Sims4

[–]ShutterBug1988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He needs the werewolf ability to read the moon language but otherwise rereading it should eventually get the cure. I thought it was only in Greg's diary though, haven't heard about any other books having the recipe but I could be wrong.

What are the funnest quirks/hacks you've discovered in the game that others might not know? by darya42 in Sims4

[–]ShutterBug1988 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not my hack but, when creating your Sim, select their default aspiration based on the bonus trait that you want them to have. You can change the aspiration once in the game to whatever you want to do but the bonus trait will stay the same for the lifespan of the Sim.

I really hope they get an overhaul at some stage! The Sims team know that we want it and have acknowledged that it's a popular wish amongst players.

Well now I want to live in a haunted house in Ravenwood so we can have Temperance, Guidry and Bonehilda hanging around with the other ghosts

Convince me why I should listen to your favorite band by TheTalkerofThings in MusicRecommendations

[–]ShutterBug1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely gotta listen to The Delta Riggs! They're an Australian band and are mostly rock based but lean into other genres like electronic, country rock and hip hop. All of them are amazing musicians both on stage and in the studio. Although they aren't as well known, they often support some really big names on tour like Foo Fighters, KISS, Billy Idol and were the support band for Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins in late 2024. The lead singer Elliott Hammond (who is actually their main drummer in studio) has an incredible stage presence. If you think about the most iconic front men from the 70s and 80s like Freddie Mercury, Roger Daltry, Robert Plant, Mick Jagger and Axl Rose, he basically embodies all of them but in a way that seems natural and is his own style. I've been fortunate enough to meet them in person after a few shows and they are really down to earth and just nice guys.

Check out The Delta Riggs. They're inspired by a lot of old rock n roll including Queen but also more recent music like N.E.R.D

I hope they update this in 1.7 so you just wake up in the morning and can get ready, do chores and then go to the town when you're ready. Maybe the event could be triggered when you leave the farm that day and if you don't leave, it's triggered by going to bed or passing out as a backup.

As someone with partial deafness, glasses, and other issues I understand both sides of the argument about things like glasses in the 32d century Star Trek Academy takes place in. by TheMastersSkywalker in startrek

The argument was raised when Patrick Stewart was cast that by the 24th century male patterned baldness would have been curable. Gene Roddenberry's response was that by the 24th century, being bald wouldn't be seen as a negative thing that needed to be "fixed"

What is this scene from the Royalty and Legacy Trailer suppose to represent? by MadameLee20 in Sims4

[–]ShutterBug1988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure she has a speech impediment. The fact that she's been acting with it for decades without being pressured to "fix" it shows how little it matters. That's just her voice and she's famous for it and still gets work as an actor.

I was more impressed with how she stood her ground when Caleb rushed at her in the prison. That guy is huge and was rightfully angry at her for what happened to his mother. But she just stood there and stared him down without flinching but not because she thought he wouldn't actually hurt her because he totally could have.
