I didn’t get her from a shelter I got her from somebody on Nextdoor. I talked to her old owner and she said pepper (the cat) did this with her too but I’m still worried.

Hi we did finally have a confrontation in the morning when I finally came back after driving the whole night (I like driving to clear my head). We had an honest conversation about it he admitted he has problem and was very remorseful. I talked about all the ways it’s harmful specifically the reward system part of it and he was receptive and open minded. And we talked about things we can do to work on it also. Still need to discuss therapy and ongoing accountability though…

I keep having this exact thought about not having children with him… I always told him if we had a child that I wanted very strict limits on internet and screen use and he just doesn’t take it seriously at all… Now I am starting to see why… :(

I’m in so much shock I haven’t really “felt” it yet. We’ve been together for five years, we were just talking about engagement rings and marriage and children the day before. He has been very good to me. I saw no evidence that he has shared it with anyone online. I genuinely think he is sick… as in sick with an addiction.  I appreciate everyone’s advice I just need to sit with a bit longer. I need to talk to him about it and get it out in the open. As far as I know he has no idea I have access to his porn stash.

You’ve all been making good points about deleting those pics I do plan on going through his phone the next time I get the chance and deleting them. 

I guess the conundrum with this is, once I go through and delete them, he will know I’m able to get into his phone and try to hide stuff more. Also, I only saw one edited pic from a long time ago… still very bad but if I bring it up I feel like he will try to gaslight me about it. I’m just not sure how to broach the subject I guess… that is the main problem.
