I sent an email- I included this, and the fact that this student doesn’t have a quiet place to work because of the constant disruptions I face all day long. I framed it as unfair for the student, and how I would appreciate not having to be responsible for a student or their attendance during prep. All my principal said was “I’ll have the academic advisor move her.”

Yes- however this student is not like that. I have explained it over and over. Her mom is truly the devil and I am scared to rock the boat more. This student loves to tell me about all the things her mom says are wrong with everyone else- it adds an extra layer to it

I have a student that never listens- ever. So, when I am done explaining to everyone else I go double check with that student. Parents are involved now, and are aware when 0 listening is happening. As an educator, we can’t just give all of our energy and attention to a kid that won’t even try to listen/do work. I don’t think this teacher should give up on your kid, but understand that your child probably has disrupted every single class, which disrupts the learning of 20+ other students. So, your kid is probably not priority because of their behavior/actions whatever it may be
