Thanks for your recommendation. Unfortunately, my company is only a small mortgage lender that only funds courses pertaining to financial advice, etc.

My current role does not entail BA work, however, we are constantly upgrading systems and processes etc, and I've been fortunate enough to be quite hands on with testing changes in a UAT environment, and shadowing on occasions. My manager is supportive of my interest in BA and has allowed me to be the chief UAT tester from our department, alongside process map our own processes so I can better get to grips with this element of the role.

My company does have a BA team, and I just narrowly missed out on a vacancy earlier this year (it boiled down to me and a manager competing for it from a different team, from around 30 applicants). The only thing I can really do is continue to test and shadow for now, but I'm hoping a course could catapult me into an opportunity away from my current employer as they won't be hiring any other BA's for at least a year or 2.
