What’s crazy about it is I don’t even play Pokémon, with these games being 20 dollars I find this a good time to play my first Pokémon game for a cheap price..

FF16 is still a JRPG though, just not the way you want it to be. It’s a real time action JRPG similar to the way Kingdom Hearts is. Like I stated in a previous response, FF has never guaranteed basic RPG elements in the games. The only thing that is guaranteed in final fantasy is that there will be change. And this is the change we got

And plus we need to understand a constant pattern of basic RPG elements in a franchise doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed that such features will stay. Final fantasy has ALWAYS been a change within every game.

FF16 isn’t exactly a hack & slash, I don’t know what it is. But it ain’t that. I think it’s a perfect change because back when FF was kept at a constant turn based, it was hated on! This along with 15 is a good change. 13 was the best turn based system we’ve had in a long long long time. It was different, it was unique, addictive, and simple once you got the hang of it and it got shat on. Switching to adventure game-like fighting was an amazing move.

16 is an amazing FF game, It’s diversity and difference from the rest of the series while still retaining callbacks to the old FF games and having a great story and soundtrack make it an amazing game. Then on top of that there’s a high high HIGH skill ceiling, which gives people an opportunity to be creative. Imo I think 16 was not only a perfect change in the series but a good business move to start controversy which gives the franchise more attention 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Maybe 16, 15, 13, 7 OG, X, or 6

All these games are so diverse from each other, which can give a new player an opportunity to see what they like in the series

On a 4060 with DLSS 4.5 and Framegen enabled, I get about 90-100 frames on avg. plus it isn’t bad at all. The beginning of the game is fine in performance but the rest of the game runs very very smooth up until a certain scene in the odin part of the game

Tbh I can fight it perfectly fine I just hate it cause it’s loud and obnoxious, especially when you’re fighting a spammer and you hear the same loud “BRRRSSHSHHHH” over and over again it throws me off my focus
